GoogleVery good experience with Martin and Co Basingstoke. Managed to get all paperwork done very quickly when arranging to rent a property. The agents I dealt with - primarily Lindsay, Cloe and Andrew - were all equally knowledgeable of my situation and happy to help out around the clock. All of them were always happy to spend a little extra time to make sure everything was explained properly and their general service and demeanour was very positive.

Martins have handled my flats for 8 years or more and I am very happy with them. They have just helped me relet a property that was left in a poor state, but they helped turn it round and relet it swiftly. The friendly staff are always willing to help, with much expertise and local knowledge that I find very valuable. Highly recommended!

GoogleUnfairly screwed by early termination fares and over 2 months of additional rent cause another tenant was not found - despite the building being a very popular place to rent. Hope they will understand one day tenants are human beings and one may need to leave a property without it costing £2,400.

We are always open to discussing individual circumstances and exploring potential solutions. We aim to balance fairness to our tenants with the responsibilities we have towards our landlords. Mica and Cloe are friendly and responsive and sort any issues ASAP, and even check in after to make sure all is ok. Petra is also lovely. FacebookAs a landlord, I've been using Martin & Co for almost 2 years now and I can happily say everything seems to run smoothly. They do not have a high turn over of staff, response times are generally 24-48hrs and the phone is always answered if I need to call them. Properties are inspected every 3 months and photos are supplied. Their accounts are organised and they provide everything required to ensure I can do my own accounts as well. They assist my nominated maintenance agents with keys, and if required, have their own trusted traders too. My tenants are happy with the other side of their service as well, so overall, 10/10 rating and highly recommended.

As a prospective tenant the first thing that’s clear is the professional manner in which you are dealt with. It’s a personal service with everything conducted with transparency and honesty. The viewing was COVID managed and all my questions were answered professionally and everything they said they would do was done. The references are taken online and with clear explanation and I have absolutely no hesitation in recommending them.
