Excellently executed sale by Rachel and the Barnet Team

I was selling my house recently in a difficult and slow market, and had tried other estate agents without success. As soon as Martyn Gerrard took over the sale, they managed to attract a number of seriously interested viewers and I soon received a very good offer, which I accepted. Rachel handled the whole sale process very professionally, despite facing a number of ups and downs along the way. With her pleasant and cheerful personality, she managed to smooth out any difficulties and successfully negotiate some issues I feared were not negotiable. She was always immediately available to respond to any queries by phone, in her supportive, patient and reassuring manner, and succeeded in completing the sale. I was also impressed by the teamwork of the whole Barnet office, headed by Susan, where everyone knew me by name and was fully acquainted with every stage of my case. Well done and thank you!

Fantastic service, nothing was too much trouble

The team at Martyn Gerrard made us feel in safe hands from the start. They were extremely thorough in their initial meetings, ensuring the correct wording and best pictures were used to market our house. Our main contact, Ashmir Sandhu, kept us informed at all times with bookings for viewings and feedback afterwards. He was proactive in ensuring the property was kept prominently marketed by making regular updates to the advertised features and by actively chasing any leads.. Happy thought out entire process

Quality, Professional Service

We recently bought a property through Martyn Gerrard in High Barnet. . Right from our first contact, Susan and her team were very professional, actually listening to what we were looking for and then proceeded to not only facilitate viewings on properties we'd selected but also made sensible suggestions about other properties that might suit. This included the one we've gone on to buy. This was a far cry from the service we were receiving from other agents who didn't listen and just showed us everything and anything. From the initial negotiation right up to exchange, the team in High Barnet, most notably Susan herself, were instrumental helping us reach an agreement on price before helping to keep our chain together while we waited for a jittery buyer on our flat. Even though we were the buyer in this situation, we really felt the staff at MG had both parties interests in mind throughout. Overall, a really great experience.

Fantastic Service - Best Agent Ever!

After living in Barnet for the past 8 years and in that time literally dealing with every estate agent in the area (with varying degrees of success!), I was so happy and relieved to find Susan at Martyn Gerrard and entrust her and her team with the sale of our property. We'd had some very bad experiences with agents in the past, but our house sale with Susan was totally hassle-free - happening on time and with no glitches whatsoever. Committed and supportive in house buying process

We had to sustain quite a lengthy sale process with many obstacles on the way. Chris was great throughout the process, including managing to book a viewing with a tenant who would not allow any potential buyers to view the property. He was later full of good initiative and accommodating in showing the house as many times as we needed. He consistently followed through on the sale process so no unneeded time was lost (for example, nudging the solicitors frequently). In short, he was everything we hoped for in a good agent, with a sense of reliability and working with us throughout this process.

Impressed

Rachel showed us a property yesterday evening and although we are not going to buy it I was impressed with the way she handled the viewing. We have spent a couple of months so far looking for property and have dealt with most of the other local agents. I have to say that Rachel stands out as being very personable and knowledgeable about the property she was showing in contrast to a good number of other agents we've dealt with. She struck just the right balance, letting us have a good look round without too much chat but was able to answer all our questions and also made some very good suggestions about possible alterations to the flat without being too pushy. Professional and honest

When I first started dealing with Nick I was a little confused!! Here was an agent treating me with respect, telling me the truth and was thoroughly trust worthy. How can this be the case I thought, well it is, and if you are lucky enough to rent your property through Nick you will find him to be honest and know that anything he says is the truth and will have your best interests at heart. Very professional and great service!

I rented and sold a flat through Martyn Gerrard. Their service is well known in North London for a reason. Agents aren't normally that popular but Susan gives the profession a good name. Professional service, reasonable rates and no BS. I can't stand the ways Agents bully you or try and force your hand...you won't find this with Susan or MG. if you want good and honest service look no further!
