GoogleJamie confirmed by phone and by email a viewing at our house at 12:30, Sept 30, 2023. As we do not live at the property, I drove there, making sure to arrive well before the appointed time to open up etc. Neither Jamie nor his viewers had shown up by 1 p.m. I phoned his office and the call was diverted to what was obviously an answering service. The lady who took the call was helpful; asking me to hold while she tried to get in touch with Jamie on another line. She was unsuccessful. I left the property at 1:15, and had no contact all all from Jamie or anyone in the office through the remainder of the day. The viewing would have been the first with Jamie if he had shown up. There is no need for him to contact me to request further viewings as any such requests by him will not be granted.

GoogleI had a very disappointing experience with estate agent Ralph Mangar. We had a confirmed viewing, with a confirmation email received, but when we arrived at the property, he simply did not show up. We waited outside the building and eventually called the office. Even his colleagues in the office also expected him to be there and told us he was probably just running late. Only later did we receive an email from Ralph himself, saying that he had “decided not to come” because we hadn’t contacted him again between the confirmation email and the viewing date. This is unprofessional and irresponsible behaviour. If he had changed his mind or needed confirmation, he should have reached out to us or at least informed his colleagues in advance.

GoogleMartyn Gerrard were instructed after failing to sell with another High Barnet agent despite on the market for 5 months. The property subsequently went under offer before it even reached the open market! The sale took a lot longer than anticipated through no fault of the agent however, Bruvis went above and beyond alto keep the sale on track continually keeping us updated on developments as well as preventing us from losing our new purchase, I can’t highly recommend Bruvis and his team in Barnet enough. GoogleI started looking for a house in a very urgent situation and visited almost every real estate agent in my area. Due to the epidemic, we were received rudely by most of the real estate agents. I guess I thought I wouldn't be able to find a home then so I went to Martyn Gerrard and was greeted very warmly. When I first went to Martiyn Gerrard, I met Lee McKinson and Lee was solution oriented and patient from the very first moment. Although I needed a house very urgently, he found me houses with the criteria I wanted. I am a hyperactive patient and have attention problems. You can't even imagine how tired the person in front of me was because of my carelessness during the house search process. Despite everything, Lee was very patient and kind with me. I went through this process believing that I would find the house I was looking for and I felt very safe and I know that if you want to rent a house in London everything will be resolved with the right estate agent and estate representative thank you very much Lee for your patience and kindness.PositiveResponsiveness

GoogleI live in Dubai and we recently sold our flat in Barnet via Martyn Gerrard Barnet office, I have to say I have dealt with many agents in the London area but the level of service provided by Yash Sakaria was exceptional with the highest level of customer service. He made sure he keep the us the buyers and the solicitors informed on the progress of the transaction. GoogleAfter Sophie Henry, the branch manager, was so fantastic with my parents, finding then a buyer for their house and then finding them a new property to move to, when it came to putting my flat on the market there was no question which agent i was going to go with. Sophie and Ercan were amazing and managed to get get my flat under offer within 3 weeks of it being on the market. GoogleWe decided to use the company to sell our house as I felt their approach and in particular the staff were simply the right people to work on our behalf. I thought the initial marketing was excellent and It showed off the house in a very alluring manner, I liked the personal testimony too. Sophie and Ercan found a buyer very quickly, and I know that Ercan was very pro active in calling clients so that they were aware of the property new to the market. Ercan has been diligent and ensured that the process was smooth running right up until completion last Friday, I believe he worked very hard with this sale in difficult market conditions, he Is a credit to his company! He was quick to work out what kind of property we were interested in and suggested others on the market that he thought might be of interest. During the purchase process he was excellent at communicating with us and between us and the vendors. He didn't just let the solicitors take over but remained present during the final months. He was also excellent at ensuring other colleagues of his were available to help us if he was out of the office for any reason. GoogleSophie Henry, Ercan & her team were very proactive & did everything in their power to find a suitable buyer & sell our property quickly after we lost an initial buyer when we were ready to commit on the purchase of a new home. Sophie is extremely professional, responsive and simply a pleasure to work with. Not only did she manage to sell our property quickly but she also negotiated a sale value £20k higher than our previously accepted offer from the first prospective buyer from another agent, who pulled out just before exchange of contracts. Sophie was also so helpful in finding a wonderful new property for us after 28 years in our previous home. She listened carefully to our specific key requirements and personally escorted us to all the viewings she arranged & her preferred recommendation proved perfect.
