WOULD NOT RECOMMEND! We were hopeful going into contract with YourMove after out valuation with Josh who seemed motivated, upbeat and keen to sell our house for the best price and as quickly as possible considering how fast the market was moving. We ended our contract after 8wks due to lack of viewings (around 4 in that time), the feeling of lack of motivation when talking about feedback and blaming our availability as the reasons why viewings were far and few between. There never seemed like a sense of wanting to sell our house and the team in Newton Abbot did not seem to take a proactive approach. Further, they take payment for the professional pictures and say you will get the money back once they sell your house (which from our experience would be unlikely with the Newton Abbot branch). As they did not sell or provide ample viewings within the 8wks contract we decided to leave them and got told that no refund would be given for the professional pictures! We shortly after got into contract with another local estate agent and after a few weeks sold for asking price after a higher rate of viewings than we had in the 8wks listed with YourMove!NegativeQuality, Professionalism, Value

We bought a house through them. Staff is ill informed, I was interrupted mid sentence all the time when I had valid questions. When I finally said to stop interrupting, they hang up on me! I was going to use them to rent my property, but I think I will go somewhere else. We were also informed that the property we buy has no chain and 2 weeks (!!) before we were ready for completion we were informed that there is a chain - how we have not been informed about it earlier? Also when viewing the house in question I was talked down to by the agent when asking legitimate question about sellers willingness to negotiate, and when I asked to see this and that, I was told "this is not how we show the house" and was just waived away to look at the garden and garage myself (too lazy to come with me or offended that I wanted to see the house in different order, because I was interested more in different things?) Also when I commented on one of the rooms that it is the nicest room in the house, he stated "we assumed it's the ugliest" and lo and behold there was not even one photo of this room in their ad. We put down the offer ONLY because I liked it, and despite the agent, not because. Generally not very pleasant experience. I called to talk the matter over and guess what - they kept interrupting me when I was talking. I barely could say a full sentence without being interrupted. Manager of this place is very unprofessional.

I don't even know where to begin! From the start of my sale process, Jen and Vicky were fantastic. I had a couple of sales fall through and I was kept updated and informed the whole time, from phone calls and emails, to all the reassurance I needed. Everyone was so lovely and extremely supportive, especially as this was my first time selling and they managed to answer all my silly questions - nothing was too much trouble for them. They listened to me laugh and cry, sometimes at the same time and basically kept me sane. Selling in a pandemic wasn't easy but without the team at Your Move I have no idea how I would have got there.
