YellDreadful lettings department
Avoid using the lettings department at all costs. Very poor background checks compared to other agents and very unhelpful about solving problems that arise

GoogleArrogant & unprofessional, with companies like this it is no wonder that estate agents have such a bad reputation. I was given a viewing appointment time of 12noon, arrived on time with no sign of the agent. After 5 mins the agent appeared from the property and approached me calling me by a wrong name, it was the name of another client waiting to view the property. Your Move had arranged for several people to arrive all at the same time! Treating us all like cattle, so unprofessional. I believe that this is a pressure selling tactic, such an unprofessional approach when they are potentially asking the client to agree a contract of £9600.00 per year and yet they don't respect you enough to give you a one on one appointment... I wonder if the landlord who is paying this company are aware of their tactics? I expect not. Unsurprisingly the agent didn't apologise just ignored me and move other client into the property. Incompetent sales agent, who obviously failed as a 2nd hand car sales person, picked the wrong client. Little did she know that I would have signed today and paid all the rent up front.... Your Move ... You Loose! Will never recommend you to anyone.... Two Bit Unprofessional Operation. The industry and customers will be better off without your company in it.

GooglePoorly managed properties falsely plead into renting out a uninhabitable property!! Whole flat is damp and mouldy. ELECTRICS dont work cooker , sink , front door ,both bedrooms bathroom living room all need serious work. So instead of doing the work for a PAYING TENANT I GOT A SECTION 21!!! DO NOT RENT FROM THEM. AND WATCH OUT FOR HELEN AND AMY GILL!

GoogleAmazing customer service. The phones are picked up immediately and the staff are incredibly helpful. They went out of their way to call me with answers to any questions I had about the property both before and after the viewing, often multiple times if I couldn't pick up straight away. When I couldn't make a viewing, they very kindly sent an agent ahead to film around the property and sent it by email. Particularly impressed by the service from Milo from who was polite, professional, and went above and beyond expectations to help me, answering my queries promptly and in the detail I wanted. Rare to find letting companies and consultants this good, highly recommend.

GoogleVery poor customer service when it comes to student housing. Me and a few housemates went to view a property which we liked and were told the house we would be moving into come September would have the exact same layout and would be the same pricing. Unfortunately this was a complete lie, we were moved into a house with a completely different floor plan and in addition being more expensive than what we were originally told. Through emails we were told the house had been complete and ready to move in months before our tenancy started, however the house was still being painted the first week we moved in. My room on the front of the house didn’t even have a damp course wall fitted which failed in independent surveyors investigation. This resulted in me having a mouldy room for half the year as they company failed to amend the problem. Mould problems were a common feature throughout the house. When dealing with the agency head on, staff (particularly Amy) were very rude and condescending. And us being students I felt they were very dismissive over these issues. Would never recommend or use this company again!! Portsmouth students steer clear.

GoogleWow. Joe in the Southsea branch was fantastic. He made our letting journey so pleasant and incredibly uncomplicated. Always ready to help when we needed it and a really positive person. All the staff were happy to help if Joe wasn't there. Fabulous. Thank you so very much Joe, you are a credit to the company.
