GoogleWe really appreciated all the effort from Williams and Donovan (Hockley) throughout our move. We put our house on the market and it sold within 2 weeks! We couldn’t believe it. All throughout the sale and purchase process the staff at W&D (especially Denise) were superb. They kept me suitably informed and when we had little snags (as there inevitably are) like a last minute request to change a completion date on the exchange date, to quote Denise, she “stuck her pointy shoes on and put her foot down” and completion happened on the originally planned date without a hitch! I would absolutely recommend them!

GoogleWhen I was moving out due to my ex and I splitting, Williams and Donovan contacted my ex regarding everything to do with moving out and had next to no communication with me. Despite the fact that my ex had never rented before and I had, and he was 5 years younger than me they just assumed that because he was MALE that he dealt with everything. I found this very sexist. They obviously assumed that he would pass on information to me but since we were breaking up and lacked communication at times he didn’t and I felt very excluded from the whole process. One time Williams and Donovan called me and when I answered she was disappointed because she thought it was my ex’s mobile number, she was asking for him and said “oh I thought this was his number” and then hung up to call him as if it was secret and I didn’t live there. I dealt with everything in that flat, organised moving in, every bill because he had never done it before, yet Williams and Donovan would only communicate with him and not both of us when it came to moving out. Really old fashioned view points on their part and insensitive of the fact that I was going through a breakup and losing the flat, that, to add insult they just excluded me. Totally unprofessional and others that I have told or who were around me during this time when this was happening have agreed. Would never let with them again.

We’ve had a very difficult 6 months trying to purchase a property due to the chain falling through numerous times and problems with solicitors. We were on a tight deadline with our mortgage offer very expiring soon and if it hadn’t been for all her hard work we definitely wouldn’t have exchanged in time for completion before this deadline.
She was emotionally invested in our journey to completion and I could genuinely feel how much she cared for us.

I have had dealings with several members of the team at Williams & Donovan and they have all been professional, kind and patient. They have guided us through every step of the way and have given us support and guidance in what has been a very stressful time in our lives but they have definitely made the process easier
They gave us a realistic valuation for the property whereas one of the other estate agents that provided us a valuation was very low.
I can’t praise Lloyd and the rest of the team enough and if I ever sell a property again I would go straight to Williams & Donovan.
