We have just sold our property through Williams and Donovan. I cannot praise the team there highly enough. Mark was our first contact, he came round to value our property and get it on the market. To our surprise it sold in eleven days and an offer was accepted. From then on Lloyd and Paul were extremely helpful and kept us informed all along the way. We had a couple of issues with our buyers, but was quickly sorted out buy the team. I would not hesitate to recommend this company to anyone who asked about them. We used Williams & Donovan for the sale and purchase of our new home from June 2025 to when we completed in February 2026. The whole team were great from start to finish, the valuation and photos for the sale of our property with Lloyd, to our viewings organised and managed by Anita, Darren and Denise and a special mention to Stephanie who was a great help with our sale progression. She kept us up to date where needed and gave us regular reassurance due to unforseen circumstances in the chain. We had a really positive experience selling our home with Williams and Donovan. From the very outset, we felt we were in safe hands, the valuation was explained well and judged with evidence from local sale prices which Darren explained and gave us confidence in the process. Darren's professional photography skills and marketing were excellent and resulted in over 40 viewings within just two weeks. As the sale progressed, the process became more challenging when our chain fell through twice. Throughout this, the team were calm, supportive and knowledgeable, helping us navigate some very difficult situations. A special mention to Stephanie, who worked tirelessly to push our new buyers forward and ultimately helped secure a quick sale, enabling us to move before Christmas. We originally bought our house through Williams and Donovan and were impressed back then, so we’re really glad we chose to sell through them too. Absolutely fabulous service from Darren, Stephanie and the team at William and Donovan, Benfleet! From start to finish, its been brilliant! We went on the market on the Monday, got a full asking price offer the very next day (sheer luck and amazing marketing by the team) and three months later, we're finally moving to our dream home. Darren came round initially and provided advice about the best way to sell our house. Then he came back a few days later to take our pictures. The pictures were brilliant and really made our house look like a home. Some pictures you see on the selling sites from other estate agents look awful but Darren's were so professional. Once our sale occurred and we had an offer accepted on another property, Stephanie took over. Her updates via telephone and email were invaluable and it took the stress out of dealing directly with the solicitors. She has been courteous and polite throughout the process and finally, after a slight snag that wasn't her fault, we've exchanged one day before completion. We can't wait to move into our new home and cannot thank William and Donovan enough! Would absolutely recommend.

I received 5 star service from everyone at Williams & Donovan, Benfleet. From the first phone call I made and spoke to Alex, I knew I’d receive a friendly service. Lloyd valued my house and took the amazing photos and drone pictures. He was so helpful, knowledgeable and listened to my situation, I never felt rushed like I had done with other estate agents. Within one week I had 11 viewers and accepted an offer by the end of that week. From that point onwards I dealt with Darren, Denise, Anita and Stephanie. Each one of them helped answer my questions and concerns, usually with a little laugh along the way. Selling a house is so stressful and everyone at W&D made it as pain free as possible. From start to finish, they have been absolutely amazing - professional, friendly and always willing to help - nothing was ever too much trouble. We used the Benfleet Branch and dealt with Darren (Branch Manager) initially and then Denise (Sales) and Stephanie (After Sales) and all of them were fantastic - super friendly, knowledgeable, not pushy in the slightest and the communication was excellent throughout the whole process.
