A very big thank you to all at W&D Benfleet. We first contacted them during lockdown to put down for viewings as soon as they were able to go ahead. From our first contact during lockdown through to picking up our keys, every member of staff we dealt with was highly professional. We decided to sell and purchase through W&D. They really go the extra mile. From Darren with his spot on valuation and great photographs, to Lloyd who found us a buyer, and everyone who conducted viewings in between, the whole team were always a pleasure to deal with. A special mention has to go to Lynn. We encountered problems with the property we were selling which delayed everything. Lynn was brilliant at keeping the chain informed, chasing solicitors and keeping them on their toes, and listening to my weekly frustrated updates. Williams and Donovan were fabulous throughout our whole moving process. James responded very quickly initially which was great as we needed a quick sell in order to buy our new house. They couldn’t have got the photos etc done any quicker. Paul and Denise were also absolute stars throughout as well, always keeping us in the loop on what’s going on, both so friendly and knowledgeable. Williams&Donovan were my mothers letting agents for her property for 10 years and the lettings team were always very helpful and efficient, especially Daniella. When my mother passed away last year we entrusted the sale of her property to them. It sold the day after it was viewed, and even, unfortunately after the buyers dropped out just before exchange, sold it straight away once again. This time the sale went through smoothly and Lyn kept me informed of the progress. I live 150 miles away from Benfleet so it was great to feel confident in the company. Professionalism, Quality, Responsiveness & Value. We asked RightMove for a valuation and met with five local Estate Agents, all of whom visited and appraised our property. 4/5 gave valuations of a similar level; the other was much lower. We had 4 agents to choose from but we went with W&D and would highly recommend them. Lloyd was very knowledgeable; he appreciated the extra things we had installed and how they would affect the valuation compared to other properties of the same size. By all means have a couple of valuations, but W&D were confident they could sell our home quickly and 4 days after going online we accepted an asking price offer so they were not wrong. We were very happy with the quality service they provided.

Sold our house through Williams & Donovan Benfleet and at every point in the process found the entire team to be helpful, professional and knowledgeable. Lloyd gave us great advice on pricing and marketing our home and clearly had a strong knowledge of our area and was honest about what we could hope to achieve so we knew where we stood and could make realistic plans accordingly. Also, the pictures he took were incredible and we have no doubt got people through the door. Once we'd agreed a sale, Lynn was brilliant at chivvying along the chain to ensure we finally got into our new home. With the stamp duty holiday and Covid it's arguably even more stressful than usual to move house, but every step of the way the W&D team made things as hassle-free as possible and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them.

My Dad, Aunt and I all dealt with Williams and Donovan in order to facilitate my Dad’s move just before Christmas. From the beginning, Mark Toomey and his colleagues were all highly professional, prompt, informative and a pleasure to deal with. My Dad is disabled and was in and out of hospital during the build up to his move, and in what was considered a tricky situation Williams and Donovan provided us with so much care and attention at all times; On the day of completion my Aunt and I were welcomed into their offices as we waited for keys to be handed in despite to obvious worries regarding coronavirus, and Mark has even asked after my Dad in the weeks following what was a successful move. We have purchased our new property via William & Donovan. The service has been AMAZING from point of contact. We have mainly dealt with Denise who has been attentive and informative throughout. We have had a lot of problems at the bottom of the chain and without Denise’s perseverance we honestly feel that the chain would have collapsed. After 25 years in Benfleet I decided to move to be nearer my family. I did some research and found Williams and Dovovan had the best reviews so I went with them. It was a difficult time because Covid 19 intervened and everything came to a standstill at one point. Williams and Dovovan went above and beyond to keep me informed of news relating to my conveyancing and even found me a new solicitor when my old one decided not to do conveyancing anymore after the lockdown ended. I would thoroughly recommend this company because they really go that extra mile and thoroughly deserve the excellent reputation they have.

Lloyd at Williams and Donovan (Benfleet) was supportive and informative from the moment he came to value our property. Photographs were taken immediately, house particulars were drawn up within a day or 2, energy reports were arranged and a buyer was found within days of putting our house on the market. From then on most of my dealings were with Lynn at the Benfleet office, and this lady certainly knows what she is doing. She knew our 'chain' thoroughly, and did not hesitate to chase people up left right and centre to keep things on track and moving along swiftly.
