GoogleA very positive experience. Our situation was relatively unusual, in that the chain fell down on an initial purchase we were making (with another estate agent) and - with our mortgage offer three weeks from expiry - we found a new house via W&D which we wanted to use it for. With the mortgage rates rising to an unaffordable level after the expiry date, the sale could only go through with a quick turnaround. As anyone who has bought a home can testify, three weeks is an almost impossibly tight turnaround, but W&D really applied themselves to making this happen. They were extremely efficient and responsive at every stage, and are clearly well-connected with other organisations locally, with the result that the sale went through within the month.

GoogleI want to thank W&D (Benfleet) and in particular, the wonderful Lynn. We’ve had a very difficult 6 months trying to purchase a property due to the chain falling through numerous times and problems with solicitors. We were on a tight deadline with our mortgage offer very expiring soon and if it hadn’t been for all her hard work we definitely wouldn’t have exchanged in time for completion before this deadline. She was emotionally invested in our journey to completion and I could genuinely feel how much she cared for us. Thank you Lynn and to all the Williams and Donovan team. GoogleI recently bought a house through Williams and Donovan, and their service on both the offer and completion side of things was perfect. When going through the stage of making offers on a property, Mark was in no way pushy and was advising me on the vendors interests and kept excellent communication. The process of purchasing and completion was handled by Lynn, who was a refreshing voice to hear when trying to deal with my atrocious solicitors, and who ended up doing a lot of their leg work. Williams and Donovan went above and beyond for both myself and the vendor, and as I sit surrounded by cardboard boxes I can't think of anything they could have done better.

GoogleThe team at Williams and Donovan have been superb. We first contacted Mark to arrange a viewing of a new build over Christmas/New Year. Despite it being the holidays, he promptly arranged a time for my wife and I to view the property. Although it wasn't for us, we spoke about putting our home on the market and Mark again quickly arranged for Darren to visit to value the home and offer guidance on our next steps. Darren took some brilliant photos and promptly uploaded to RightMove. Within 24 hours we had several viewings lined up, and within 4 days our property was sold! James obviously did a great job when showing potential buyers around. Lynn kept us regularly informed when offers came in, and helped us consider counter offers and conclude everything quickly. We can't thank the whole team enough for how smoothly this has all been!
