I would definitely recommend Williams and Donovan in Hockley. So professional and helpful. I was originally selling a property with another estate agent as well as Williams and Donovan but very quickly realised the difference in service and attention was miles apart and came away from the other one leaving it just with W&D and I'm so glad I did. They were so thorough, keeping me informed at all times, arranging and doing viewings as the property was empty and basically took care of everything for me. So refreshing to find an estate agent getting it right! Definitely one to trust!

I can’t thank the Hockley team enough! W&D sold my mothers property at a very difficult time, meaning viewings were not always possible/easy, but they were always friendly and accommodating and handled our situation with care. From start to finish, we found every staff member a pleasure to deal with and very efficient. The property sold for a good price and although it was a rocky process, Paul and the team did their upmost to keep things running smoothly. I have just sold my house through W&D Hockley. They were amazing. We were having issues with the very bottom of the chain but Paul Dunne went above and beyond to pull it together. There were times when we considered pulling out of the sale because it was becoming so stressful but Paul was brilliant, he took over liaising with all the parties involved and took the stress away from us. TERRIBLE AVOID! We recently purchased a house through Williams & Donovan, it was advertised everywhere as having a south facing garden. Once in the property realised it was in fact a NW facing garden. Brought this up with them and got a response from Sales Director James Whyte. Who was rude and ignorant, not even so much as an apology on their behalf in fact they claimed it was my solicitors fault as they done searches. I didn’t think they searched for potential lies from estate agent. James is rude, condescending and arrogant. If this is how director level deal with complaints I would hate to see how the rest of the firm is run. Would give 0 Stars if I could.

Buying our first home was stressful, but it was made so much easier with the help of Williams & Donovan. Lynn & Anita were really helpful with keeping us up to date and explaining things we didn’t fully understand. On a number of occasions our solicitor was difficult to get hold of, but every time Lynn chased them they replied quickly, and Lynn updated us! Everyone went above and beyond to help us complete on time and we are now (almost) settled into our new home! Thank you so much.
