I was always given feedback from all viewings so you were not left wondering. Once sold I dealt with Lynn who kept me up to date with regular updates on the progression of the chain and was on the ball to keep things moving. Hi Izzy, and thanks for your review. Although I must say I struggle to understand your logic and your comments. You called our office and asked to view two properties, and we informed you that one of them had already sold but you could still view the neighbouring property that was still available which you were happy to do so. Whilst viewing the available property you asked again about the neighbouring sold property (I know the board still said for sale but we were waiting for our board contractor to change it to sold) and we informed you again that it had already been sold and the sellers had asked us not carry out any more viewings. The sold property was on the market for over 2 months, we had 29 viewings and received an offer that the sellers were happy with so they asked us to cancel any further viewings. I am not sure why you think we sold it before it went on the market. You would not like it if an estate agent continued to show people around a property that you were buying, especially when you had paid for your survey, legal fees and been informed that the sellers had accepted your offer and taken the property off the market. Which is why we don't do it, it's just not how we do business.

GoogleA very big thank you to all at W&D Benfleet. We first contacted them during lockdown to put down for viewings as soon as they were able to go ahead. From our first contact during lockdown through to picking up our keys, every member of staff we dealt with was highly professional. We decided to sell and purchase through W&D. They really go the extra mile. From Darren with his spot on valuation and great photographs, to Lloyd who found us a buyer, and everyone who conducted viewings in between, the whole team were always a pleasure to deal with. A special mention has to go to Lynn. We encountered problems with the property we were selling which delayed everything. Lynn was brilliant at keeping the chain informed, chasing solicitors and keeping them on their toes, and listening to my weekly frustrated updates. She really was the glue that held the chain together and is an asset to W&D. We would not hesitate to recommend W&D to anyone looking to buy or sell in the Benfleet area. Thanks once again

GoogleHighly recommended - the way estate agents should be! I have recently bought a house through Williams & Donovan in Hockley. The experience was a pleasure from start to finish. James Williams is an excellent agent - friendly, personable and knowledgeable. He took the time to find out what we really wanted from our new property and was always at the end of the phone with any questions that we had. Over and above other estate agents in the area, the team at Williams & Donovan give the personal, bespoke touch, a rare find. We never felt like ‘just another buyer’, they really do care about your move.
