I have been dealing with Spencers Lettings for many years and have always received a professional and personal service from them. Naturally, when I wanted to sell my property, I thought of Spencers first. Once the property details were taken, and pictures organised, it was advertised within a few days. I must admit it was slow at first until Franco got involved and that’s when I felt comfortable and confident that I had selected the right agent. Franco has been In touch with me regularly and has a great desire to get the job done correctly. He works with the highest level of integrity and due diligence. I would recommend him highly and believe he’s an asset for Spencers, and there should be more agents like him in the industry. Great job so far Franco!

Everyone we've dealt with at Spencer's has been amazing, we were able to sort out a viewing quickly, and when we were chosen to go forward with the tenancy by the landlord, referencing etc was a very smooth and quick process. This is my partner and I's first place together, they've given us loads of advice about electric and water set-up etc. When we first viewed our flat the previous tenants still lived there and it wasn't in the best state, but we saw past this. Spencer's then let us have a second go in the flat when it was empty to see it properly. They let us take our time (we wanted to measure things etc to know what furniture to buy etc!). I highly recommend them, the whole team are awesome, and really do want to help you.

Expected selling my mum's empty house to be really tricky as being done through a lasting power of attorney and living 100 miles away from Leicester. Turned out easier than expected thanks to the help we received from Spencers who managed all the viewings, kept us informed at every stage and even arranged for someone to come and fix the gas central heating boiler when it stopped working this Autumn. First sale fell through at last minute due to a problem further down the chain but Spencers quickly arranged a new set of viewings and found us a second serious buyer who has just exchanged contracts. Particular thanks to Franco and Sandra for keeping me informed throughout the process and to Garfield from lettings for arranging the central heating repair. Also had excellent service from Marcus at their partner Countrywide conveyancing company.

The service we received from Jack was exceptional. I am a director of a Surveying Company & deal with many estate agents on a daily basis - unfortunately the vast majority make our job incredibly difficult ! Not in this case. Our call had initially gone through to the wrong branch, however Jack was still able to deal with our query extremely efficiently, nothing was too much trouble for him. He was also polite & cheerful (which are rare qualities these days ) he was an absolute pleasure to deal with. Other estate agencies could seriously take a leaf out of this young mans book. Awful. These where my letting agents for 2 years. They charged £75 to reprint an annual statement, which I am pretty sure is not allowed as it falls under a SARS request. They also went to fix a simple leak which resulted in the tiles being ripped up and relayed. The relaying was done by a plumber who placed them down wonky. This resulted in them having to be ripped up again and relayed at my own expense. When asked why the tileing was so bad their response was he is a plumber we thought he could lay tiles. Considering they are paid to manage a property they could not do it and still charged for the privilege and more. They get every little bit of money they can from you. Please don’t think either that they the rugby branch will manage the property it is all done from a call center in Leeds.
