I have chosen Spencer's over some of the other estate agencies mainly for the level of communications and they deliver what they say i.e. the price to advertise at, the specification, layout word pagination and photos etc which is very different in my experience's of buying and selling houses and using other estate agents, Max and Elliott stand out as a mention as they communicate well and appraise me of the events leading up to the sale. I would certainly recommend anyone thinking of purchasing or selling go go with Spencer's hence the reason why the 5 stars

After leaving a 5 star when I moved in, now I am thoroughly DONE with this agency. They are lovely getting you IN the property, but not helpful whatsoever when things go wrong. My oven broke, and I followed procedure, and reported it. After 2 weeks of not hearing anything, I asked for an update. They then told me I've got to get it repaired or fixed myself. Landlord is stingy but it happens. So I arrange for the old one to get removed with Spencers. Get a time slot for the next day, and 2 emails to confirm the go ahead and I thought FINALLY after a month with NO OVEN in a LOCKDOWN, I was getting somewhere... Not a word. Nobody came. Why am I surprised? I am so disappointed with the lack of communication. I have been paying on time, for 16 months and never caused an issue. I even wanted to upsize from flat to house with Spencers because they were so great at helping me find a place in a hard time in my life. GOD knows I won't be staying with Spencers. At this point I'd rather pay the leaving early fine than give another penny to the dream team of Sloppy Spencers and the Lackluster Landlord. TL;DR: Happily show you and sell a dream, but then don't be surprised when the door smacks you on the way out.

My partner called to asked for a viewing at 141 Wolverton Rd which was only advertised on 7th Jan 21 and Emma from Spencers Estate was very difficult and unhelpful in arranging a viewing. She asked so much private information as to who was my broker and would then tell me that they do not accept my broker as they do not do credit check on us. Finally she then could not offer any appointment and made it very difficult. She said she had few viewings already and someone already put an offer on the property. By Monday the property would be sold! Must be by magic to sell a house in 3 days of advertising it! Very unprofessional and difficult. Good luck in selling the property.
