GoogleAs a landlord of a property in St Albans I use Space for finding me tenants, checking them in and checking them out. I then manage the ongoing situation. Over the years Space have found me 5 different tenants and I have generally been very pleased with the service provided, just the odd hiccup on checking out one tenant. I obviously would recommend them.

GoogleI brought a buy to let property this year and Space Lettings found me a tenant on the first day of viewings. The staff were very helpful with any queries I had and the whole process was very smooth. I cannot recommend them enough. I am very happy with the service I received and the ongoing management of the property.

GoogleVery poor service overall. I rented a property through Space and was not given a clear understanding of what the property contained. I am still to receive my deposit after a full month after the hand over of the property and am not able to contact anyone for assistance. Worse still, the person responsible Laura Kidd is MIA when I call them up to follow up. Stay away from this agency - especially for properties in Art School Yard. This is the third property I have rented in and around London and by far this review reflects the relatively poor performance of this agent relative to other experiences in London.

GoogleFor a barsnack... Well, it's all right, though highly priced. Ambience, inside and and out, all right too for service, well, ditto. Ditto decor. Since before its major makeover, way before the Pandemic it has been, well, all right. It could be so much more.

GoogleMould and damp in the property, terrible conditions which made the whole family sick for weeks on end. They had little regard for our wellbeing as tenants. They overcharged us for end of tenancy clean (quoted £400 plus for a clean that other cleaning companies quoted me less then half the price). It has been an utterly stressful experience. Would never use again. Every single person I've spoken to at Space Letting including the managing director has been a poor communicator. I'm horrified that any estate agent would knowingly let a property out in such poor conditions (and they did do this knowingly). From the other reviews it seems that many others have had similar experiences to us, which I'm sorry to hear. I only hope that prospective tenants read these reviews before considering letting a property through this company.

Hello Liza We have explained that unfortunately we had no option but to have the property cleaned on your departure and this was expensive due to the condition of the property. We also offered for third parties to inspect the issue on the mould as there was previously no mould at the property during previous tenancies. It is noted that you warned us that unless the landlord dropped the cleaning charge then a poor review would be posted and we are sorry to see that this has happened. Jeremy Rich

GoogleMy heating failed in the winter and this estate agent didn't think it was their responsibility to fix it. Do not use as you will probs be left with an uninhabitable home

GoogleWe rented from Space Lettings for two years before buying our own place. At the time, we were moving from abroad during the peak of the COVID pandemic and took a dive as we weren’t able to view the house in person. It was prepared immaculately and dealing with Space over the course of our tenancy was easy.

GoogleWas my first renting experience. Awful, eventually had to move out. Spent hours cleaning the home when I moved in and moved out. They too £60 for a long hair on the sink. Argued, but they said they had to get cleaners in. Had photos of how I left the place. No one would speak to me. Asked to speak to a manager, which they said no. Worst customer service I have ever come across. Only dealt with the st albans branch and managing director who I emailed. His response was disappointing.
