GoogleThis is the second time we have been renting from Sinclair Hammelton Bromley branch and every time we found the service to be outstanding, from arranging a viewing, to getting vetted and moving into the property. The letting team at Bromley pay great attention and care particularly Kayleigh who helped us with our current property. She was absolutely brilliant all through the process and still continues to assist us now when ever we need help.

GoogleBrilliant service throughout. Found us a buyer quickly and at the right price and took the time to really understand what we were looking for and know what our ideal home on the roads we wanted would be. When there was nothing available they went outside the box and got a property onto the market that fitted the bill. We literally would never have known about this place as it wasn't on the market. And they were patient, courteous and efficient all through the process too - even when emotions ran high! Outstanding work and we are truly grateful to all of the team for making our dream move happen.

GoogleHad an offer accepted on a property they were selling, was told by the agent that we were the highest bidder and it would be taken off the market. Two weeks later after we were already committed into the sales process another employee calls me up to tell me that a higher bidder (which I had never been told about) had got an offer accepted on their place and now their offer was being accepted. If we’d had known about the higher bid being in place at the start we would have never proceeded, the whole experience was highly unprofessional. Wasted our time and money.
Dear Zachary, I am the branch manager here at Sinclair Hammelton Bromley. I appreciate that the situation is very disappointing, I have been on the receiving end of a 'gazumping/similar' situation personally so I do understand how frustrating it can be. I completely understand your approach, successive governments have tried and failed to modernise the house buying process, I was duty bound to submit any offer to a client, and ultimately it is their choice as to whom they sell to, I can understand your anger and frustration indeed, from my part I am in the distasteful position of informing people they have lost their purchase - and inevitably people's anger and frustration is passed on, understandably. By way of an explanation; We had received a number of offers on the property at the same time as yourself, at the instruction of our client we spoke to all parties and asked for a 'best and final' offer, we explained the process and existance of other offers at this stage, to all involved. We then presented all offers and our client made the decision to accept yours. The 'higher' offer you mention was not at that time in a possition to proceed so it was rejected. We do not as a rule disclose the nature/figure of offers to other parties in the interest of keeping the process as fair as we possibly can. As you may be aware however, we are legally obliged to put forward any offer we receive to our clients, in this instance the potential buyers that had made the higher offer had subsequently achieved a sale on their property and wanted to re submit their previous offer. We presented this to the client where she made the unfortunate decision to accept it. Again, I am sorry you feel aggrieved, we do not relish situations like this and do try to discourage instances of 'gazumping' wherever possible. I am however sure that in this instance, we have acted within the ombudsman guidelines and in fairness of all parties, to the best of our ability. Yours Sincerely Luke Goatley

GoogleSinclair Hammelton have always been excellent to work with over the years I have bought and rented property. They know the area well and have built up a knowledge and understanding of the market and importantly it's people. They are excellent negotiators, achieving the right price for both seller and buyer. Sounds obvious, but this is really important in making sure a sale is successful and doesn't break up. Inevitably the UK conveyancing process brings about its own challenges and this is where it counts. When it came to selling our family home they were top of my list. They achieved the right price for our sale and helped everyone in a complex chain over several months as we relocated to a different part of the country. Added to their expertise they are also nice people. Both management and team there are super supportive of the local schools and community and this is what establishes them as such a strong player in an increasingly corporate market. I would recommend them as your 1st choice of agent, if not that then speak to Luke, Matt or Natalie and see the comparison for yourself.

Dear Dusan, Huge apologies that you have had to face these delays with your pool recommissioning and understand your frustration. As you are aware, we will of course compensate you with a rent rebate for the time that you have been unable to use the pool. As your managing agents, we are doing the best we can in trying to resolve this matter and carry out the required works as soon as possible. We are just as frustrated as you are that we were unable to get this completed any sooner, however, circumstances of all parties involved have not allowed for this to be a smooth completion. Also, we have faced unforeseen setbacks with the pool since the first attempt a couple of weeks ago to get it recommissioned. There are layers of issues that were uncovered during the filtering and that have to be dealt with before the recommissioning is successfully completed. It can be out of our control when instructed companies cannot complete work due to further issues and further required funds which need to be received and paid. We apologise again for the inconvenience that this may have caused you and hope that we can regain your faith in Sinclair Hammelton as we are chasing all parties every day for this to be completed. GoogleWe had a very good experience with Sinclair Hammelton from start to finish.All the team members were helpful. Harry oversaw our sale and purchase and was always very proactive and responsive;it made a real difference. He was professional and persistent in chasing a conveyancing firm that were progressing at a protracted pace! They also recommended a solicitor- the best I've ever encountered. House move stress was minimised as much as it could be.

GoogleFantastic service, Matthew Hirst provided really informative advice on the current market and how we could achieve a successful sale. Weekly updates always happened and this took a lot of pressure off me to chase the process. Particularly at times of challenges with solicitors and conveyancer. Sinclair Hammelton were recomended to me and I would definitely use them again and now recommend them to friends.

GoogleWe hadn't quite got our house on the market and we went to view a property to essentially rule out that style of house. However, rather than ruling it out we agreed that it suited our needs, location and size requirements better than we thought it possibly could. Our house eventually made it to market and within 2 days we'd accepted an offer and the rest is history. Matt, Harry and the rest of the sales team helped us through the entire process and even when we thought the new house was no longer on the cards they worked their magic and it was all back on again. Thanks to everyone who assisted getting our new home, all very much appreciated. I would recommend selling and/or buying through Sinclair Hammelton to anyone - courteous, professional and no-hard sale tactics in sight.

GoogleWas very satisfied with the level of service we received and the communication from start to finish. We experienced some glitches in our chain that could have had caused the whole chain to collapse, and Luke from Bromley SH dealt with this superbly, everything was back on track with very minimal disruption, we were very impressed with how this was handled. This is the third time we have used SH and I would not hesitate to use them again. Would highly recommend.
