We have bought and sold through Seymours a couple of times now and have found them to be reliable and professional and would use them again. We have only given them 4 stars on this occassion, as on the last sale/purchase they didn't perform as well on the day of completion. We had to wait unnecessarily because our usual contact Clarissa was off that day and her cover didn't know what was going on. This meant we were waiting a couple of hours for nothing with removal men on standby waiting for us to get the keys. We got there in the end and on the whole Clarissa helped ensure the sale went smoothly and quickly.

But from start to finish they fulfilled their task with professionalism. The process wasn't as seamless as we hoped it would be. Early miscommunication issues didn't help and we felt let down by the initial team responsible for client introductions. However, the stalemate (if i can call it that) was improved measurably further downstream by the introduction of Seymours Client Relations Manager Amy Sandys. Frankly, from Seymours perspective, she was probably the reason this sale is as close to completion as it is. She was/is competent, professional, proactive and above all, incredibly calm and understanding. As my frustrations boiled over, Amy never appeared flustered and consequently gained my trust. As an ex manager, trust is earned, it is never a given irrespective of your title, so thank you Amy. If i had my way, Seymours selling fee would ALL go to Amy. She more than anyone else deserves it and my 4 star make is all for her. Should we need Seymours services again Amy, I hope we can call on you to drive the process forward. I wish I could rate Seymours 10 stars. They were simply amazing from start to finish. They managed to arrange viewings for the flat I was selling without the flat being on the usual Rightmove and Zoopla, and they sold it in less than a week. Brett helped me with the negotiations on my purchase and Amy made sure we did exchange and completion in a timely manner. If something was not clear or I needed an update, I just picked up the phone and called Amy and she answered promptly all my questions. They were simply responsive, competent and efficient. We had a pretty good experience with Seymours bar some minor hiccups in the beginning when we would have appreciated more frequent communication, even when nothing was moving. House buying is an incredibly long process and things being silent for months left us feeling a bit excluded. Once things started moving however we felt sufficiently supported and the person we worked with was very dedicated to bridge communication between us and the other parties involved. Overall we had a positive experience.

I have recently sold my property in Woking, through Seymours Woking. Both the pre-sales team, and the client relationship manager (Amy) were fantastic. Amy was incredibly responsive and professional, making the chain of sale much less precarious than it could have been with a different agent. We did intially considered listing with a fee free agent, but the extra value of having a dedicated team and the client relationship manager was more than worth it to use seymours. Fee free isn't very useful if the chain collapses and no one gets a purchase or sale. Thank you, Seymour's Woking for helping us sell our property.

Well, where do I start..... ....Estate Agents always seem to get bad press when things go wrong but you never hear when things are well done. The Woking team have been amazing from start to finish with the sale of our property. The transparency and clear information and direction was brilliant. The constant communication and follow up after every appointment - great!! The whole team were on the ball and 100% up on the ever-changing market situation which reassured us. Seymours are well known in Woking and they gave a very competitive fee and price so we opted for them. They were aggressive at getting people through the door as their main tactic. Meant we had a lot of viewings which was good but we didn't have any offers early on. Had to cut prices a couple of times, and then they released a similar property a few weeks later which really put us on the back foot. Felt they had overpriced us from the off. All good getting people through the door, but felt that it was a numbers game more than anything and we had bad luck too. When we did finally get an offer, it was lower than hoped (almost 15% lower than the first quoted - to be clear, the market was trending downards too). We had been waiting a while so we accepted only to find the buyer raising issue after issue. Not sure how the property was pushed to the potential buyer but Iit got too much as they asked for discount after discount, so we decided to pull it from them and moved to another estate agent in the area. We sold through them within 6 months. Other people seem to have a good experience with Seymours Woking, but ours wasn't the best

From the initial call everything kicked in to gear really quickly. We had the right property to sell for demand in the market and Seymours had buyers lined up immediately. Finding a property was harder, not much was coming on in the range we wanted but they really worked hard to close out the chain for us. A sale fell through and we had first refusal on that house, it was the house that became home. All in all, it took a while but Seymours were brilliant. Our dedicated Relationship Manager was an absolute star. The chain was short, but it was hard work - she was just brilliant at managing it!
