Chris and his team at Seymours in Burpham, handled my sale and purchase, which completed in February this year. They were helpful, supportive and communicative throughout the whole process. This helped take away a certain level of stress, in what is generally a very stressful process. They marketed my house very discreetly (at our request), found me new buyers extremely quickly when one pulled out, and achieved close to asking price every time. They were extremely accommodating with our purchase, very helpful on all enquiries and very happy to accommodate repeat visits to the property while we waited on exchange and completion. We have used Seymours in Burpham for every sale and purchase of properties since 2013 (4 sales, 4 purchases) and will continue to do so every time! I cannot recommend these guys highly enough for anyone looking for a smooth process in the purchase or sale of a property.

After my mother sanctioned the sale of the family house - she then gracefully passed away. This created a conundrum about the speed of sale v the speed of probate. Fortunately, Team Chris, Nolan, Andie, Luke, Becca, and Georgia kept the plates spinning while we battled various government agencies and a lengthy chain finally completed 6 months later. Which, all things considered, was very reasonable.

I recently sold my property through Seymour’s Burpham office, and I can’t recommend them highly enough, especially Andie Bartlett. The sale took over six months and was part of a complicated process. There were many parties involved, and the chain broke once, making everything even more stressful. Coordinating the exchange and completion was a real challenge due to ongoing issues on our side, and at times, it felt like the sale might fall through completely. Throughout all of this, Andie was truly exceptional. She managed the expectations of everyone in the chain with professionalism and care, kept the transaction on track, and held the chain together when it was at risk of collapsing. She was also incredibly responsive, always replying on the same day, and her commitment and calm approach made a world of difference. She went above and beyond to make sure this transaction reached completion, and I’ll always be grateful for her support. I can’t thank her enough and would highly recommend her to anyone navigating a difficult or complex sale.

We returned to Seymours after a spell with another estate agent as we felt their local knowledge and location would be to our advantage. A change of management and refreshed team, has made a massive difference. We felt that the way the team familiarised themselves with the house before viewings was an excellent strategy. It was also helpful that they were honest about the state of the market and our expectations, which eventually led to our sale. Chris was also helpful in advising us of a strategy to negotiate our onward purchase. The sales progression service through Andie has been vital in achieving exchange. Emma is an amazing asset to the company. She was very welcoming when we first met her for our now new home, she answered all our questions we had and being first time buyers we were unfamiliar with a lot of the process and she was happy to talk us through it all so we knew what to except. Seymours Burpham has apparently gone through some majors changes recently which we were not fully appraised of. In the end, we have sold our house so thanks is due. But it has been an excruciating process not helped by the archaic conveyancing laws of England. Something has got to change in our legal system but that is a discussion for another forum. At the end of the day thanks must be given and the worked of Andie Bartlett recognised. She has stuck to the task day in day out whilst many of her fellow estate agents have frankly been sorely wanting. One word of advise, choose your solicitor/conveyancer/estate agent very, very carefully as we have encountered utter incompetence from others along the way in the chain. Thank you Andie for all your hard work on our behalf and we're very happy to praise your efforts.
