Overall, our first experience of buying a home with Seymours West Byfleet was a positive one. Lucy, who showed us around the property, was very diligent in pointing out as many details as possible and took the time to answer all of our questions thoroughly. Our only feedback at this stage would be that a little more investigation prior to the viewing may have been helpful, particularly regarding the progression of the onward chain, as what we were told at the time did not fully reflect the actual situation. Once our offer was accepted, the sales progression stage was unfortunately less consistent. We were assigned three different sales progressors during the process, and there appeared to be a lack of clear communication and handover between them. This did cause some confusion at times, particularly when updates and timelines were given without full visibility of the situation, especially regarding the seller’s position. That said, once Rowan took over our sale, he was responsive, proactive, and clearly committed to pushing the transaction forward. While delays from the seller’s solicitors slowed progress considerably, Rowan worked hard to obtain updates and keep things moving wherever possible. Our only additional feedback would be that we would have appreciated firmer confirmation of facts before certain dates and timelines were shared, to help manage expectations more accurately. Although the process took longer than initially anticipated, we are now very happy homeowners with the keys in hand. Thank you to the team at Seymours West Byfleet, and especially to Rowan, for helping us reach the finish line.

Seymour’s has been extremely helpful with our extensive property search. Especially a young lad named Ben. He showed us around 3 properties, he was highly knowledgeable of them all and extremely friendly with our child which came along for the experience. To our surprise, he’d only been doing this job for short term, we were so sure he was far more experienced. Ben was superb and a pleasure to deal with. In a difficult market Lucy, Matt and Jake at West Byfleet Seymours worked so hard to show our house and find us the right buyer. A special mention to Sammy who came into our house move journey only in the last few weeks (and to Kirsty who preceded her). Sammy was tireless in her efforts to get us to exchange. Moving house in this country can be incredibly lengthy and stressful experience but Kirsty, Sammy and Paige never gave up chasing and went out of their way to keep us informed. What can I say... Absolutely great from start to finish. Seymours in west byfleet have been nothing but friendly and professional. I was shown around many apartments in a couple of hours of being with them. They collected all them together for me and they kept within my price range listening to what I need. Every apartment was of such a high standard and I accepted one the same day of viewing. I was liaising with Maddy and Charlotte who have been great. Friendly and approachable as well and making it a very easy, seamless process. Ben showed me around the properties and was happy to answer any questions I had.
