GoogleAfter struggling to get any interest in my property I switched agents to Seymours West Byfleet in mid-Sept, and little over 2 months later the sale has been completed! My initial contact was with Matthew Swing who is likeable and decisive, and although price drops were required, this was a reflection of the market at the time, and his confidence at achieving a quick sale proved correct. My main contact after accepting an offer was Kirsty Haydon, Sales Progressor, and she definitely knows how to make matters progress, and swiftly! It is a long time since I've sold a property, so I don't know if all agents have a 'Kirsty' but she is clearly a huge asset to Seymours, as I have no doubt that the whole process would have taken much longer than 7 weeks without her. I was very lucky to have a lovely buyer, but Kirsty was a great 'go-between', and she chased both solicitors ceaselessly to achieve the tight deadline my buyer required. Many thanks to all at Seymours West Byfleet, but especially Kirsty!

GoogleSeymours west byfleet are excellent. We have sold twice and bought 3 times through them now and the service has always been brilliant. We have just completed on our recent purchase and even though it was a very difficult chain, Kirsty was amazing and kept us updated throughout. Lucy and Matt were also great. Highly recommend!

GoogleI would not recommend this letting agency based on my experience. I moved into a property on 31 July 2026 and was extremely disappointed with the condition in which it was handed over. The property had no electricity when I moved in. After investigating the issue myself, I established that E.ON was the supplier and was informed that the electricity had been disconnected due to a negative balance on the account. The property also had no hot water, with the hot water system/boiler displaying an error. In addition, the property was clearly not prepared for a new tenant. It showed no sign of having been professionally cleaned, the walls were dirty, there was mould on the walls and blinds, the bedroom carpet had hard sticky stains, the lounge flooring was lifting, the kitchen walls required attention, and the toilet seat was broken. The most disappointing part was the lack of communication and support from the agency. After calling the office several times and sending emails explaining that the property had no electricity and no hot water, there was complete radio silence. Despite raising urgent issues affecting the basic habitability of the property, I received no timely response or clear plan to resolve the situation. Moving into a new home should be a positive experience, but unfortunately this was extremely stressful and disappointing. I hope the agency improves its property inspection process, communication with tenants, and response times when dealing with serious issues.

At every step of the way through the selling process we were kept in formed. They were by far the better Estate agents than the others we considered in the area. Though a difficult time for selling, they persevered and closed a deal with our buyer. We would thoroughly recommend Seymours West Byfleet for listing a property.

GoogleI found Seymour’s Estate Agents unprofessional throughout my sale. The property wasn’t properly presented to buyers, I only received one low offer which they seemed happy to push through, and no effort was made to secure better offers. The completion was slow, I had to chase everything myself, and unbelievably no one even called to confirm when it was finally done. No follow-up, no survey, nothing. Very disappointing service. Apparently they only ask certain sellers to review.

As you’ll recall, your property was on the market with another agent for several weeks, and while you did receive a slightly higher offer at that time, it was declined. When we were instructed, the market had already tightened and experienced a noticeable slowdown. Despite these conditions, we carried out 12 viewings and secured an offer at over 97% of the asking price, which you were happy to accept. Our records show that Kirsty was highly proactive in progressing the sale and that regular updates were provided throughout the process. I would also like to clarify that we do not selectively request reviews from clients, anyone is welcome to leave a Google review at any time. We value honest feedback from all of our clients and use it to improve our service. If you’d like to discuss this further, we'll be happy to speak with you directly.
