GoogleI cannot recommend Seymours Godalming highly enough to anyone looking to rent in the area, and would particularly like to mention how amazing Josh Frewin was in helping me find a new home.
I had been searching for quite a while before contacting Seymours and was feeling really exhausted and stressed out by the process. But when I contacted the Seymours Godalming office, Josh genuinely listened to what I was looking for and even showed me a property that was just about to come onto the market that he thought would be a good fit for me, and which ended up being absolutely perfect! Josh gave the kind of personal touch service that no other agent had provided, and that really made all the difference.
Josh kept me updated at each stage, and he and the team moved things forward quickly (which was really impressive given the rather short turnaround for the move in date!) From the first phone call, Josh was friendly and helpful and his professionalism and initiative really stood out. He took away all the stress I’d experienced with other agents and has genuinely helped make this the easiest and least stressful move I’ve ever had!
I’m so happy in my new home (the ‘welcome to your new home’ card from the team was a lovely touch!) and I’m really grateful to Josh and the team for making this happen!

However, at the end of the tenancy they have tried to take more money in the deposit and taken pictures at different angles and different pictures to before. The apartment was spotless and they still want to charge £550 for a professional clean (we received our flat not professionally cleaned at all)

To clarify, proposed deductions from a tenancy deposit are not automatically taken and must be supported by appropriate evidence. Where there is a difference of opinion regarding the condition or cleanliness of a property at the end of a tenancy, tenants have the right to dispute any proposed deductions through the relevant independent tenancy deposit protection scheme, which will review the check-in and check-out evidence before making a decision.
We take our responsibilities to both landlords and tenants seriously and would be very happy to discuss the specific concerns you have raised directly with you.

If you're looking to buy or sell a home, I cannot recommend Andy Crossley and the team at Seymours Godalming enough.
Andy was always available to answer questions and proactively kept me updated every step of the process. I never felt out of the loop or uninformed.
Beyond just being excellent at his job duties, Andy is also just a genuinely wonderful person to work with. Honest, friendly and committed to my goals as if they were his own. He really went above and beyond to make a typically stressful transaction as seamless as possible.
