Looking back, it has been a long and exhausting journey. We first began our house search in 2024 with another estate agents and moved to Seymour's at the beginning of 2026. Initially, we were a little concerned that a larger estate agency might feel too corporate or be focused on pushing for a quick sale. In reality, that’s not been the case at all.
Charles is one of the kindest, most knowledgeable and dependable person we've had the pleasure of working with. From our very first conversation through to completion, he kept in close contact, keeping us updated every step of the way and proactively suggesting properties that genuinely matched our requirements. He was always easy to reach, and his advice was consistently honest, thoughtful, and never pushy. We always felt he had our best interests at heart.
Once our offers were accepted, Jules became our main point of contact throughout the conveyancing process, and we were blown away by her dedication and work ethic. She worked tirelessly to coordinate between all the parties involved and to resolve the many issues that inevitably arose along the way. Time and again she responded to emails late into the evening and over weekends, simply to ensure that nothing was left unresolved. Her commitment, professionalism, and attention to detail were truly exceptional.
We feel incredibly fortunate that Charles and Jules were with us throughout this journey. The care, integrity, and professionalism they showed at every stage gave us complete confidence that we were in the best possible hands. We would recommend Seymour's without hesitation, and Charles and Jules in particular are an absolute credit to the company.

GoogleI would not recommend this letting agency based on my experience.
I moved into a property on 31 July 2026 and was extremely disappointed with the condition in which it was handed over. The property had no electricity when I moved in. After investigating the issue myself, I established that E.ON was the supplier and was informed that the electricity had been disconnected due to a negative balance on the account.
The property also had no hot water, with the hot water system/boiler displaying an error. In addition, the property was clearly not prepared for a new tenant. It showed no sign of having been professionally cleaned, the walls were dirty, there was mould on the walls and blinds, the bedroom carpet had hard sticky stains, the lounge flooring was lifting, the kitchen walls required attention, and the toilet seat was broken.
The most disappointing part was the lack of communication and support from the agency. After calling the office several times and sending emails explaining that the property had no electricity and no hot water, there was complete radio silence. Despite raising urgent issues affecting the basic habitability of the property, I received no timely response or clear plan to resolve the situation.
Moving into a new home should be a positive experience, but unfortunately this was extremely stressful and disappointing. I hope the agency improves its property inspection process, communication with tenants, and response times when dealing with serious issues.

From the very first viewing through to the end of our search, Serena has been absolutely wonderful.
We were looking for a property for my 88-year-old mum, so this was a significant and emotional move for our family. Serena was incredibly kind, patient and thoughtful throughout the whole process, always taking the time to understand Mum's needs and never making us feel under any pressure. Her warmth, professionalism and genuine care made what could have been a very stressful experience so much easier.
I'd also like to thank Sandy and the rest of the team, who were all friendly, knowledgeable and a pleasure to deal with. Every member of staff we met was welcoming, professional and clearly cared about providing a first-class service.
