Agents get a bad rep sometimes but I have to say Jeff was great to work with - not at all pushy ever, sharing properties with us that actually met our criteria (including pointing us towards the house we eventually ended up buying which we hadn't spotted!) and then helping us get our purchase over the line. Our agent was Saskia, who showed us round five properties in Guildford on a Friday evening going well past her finishing time, with great patience and good humour. She was a star. I recently sold my property in Godalming with Seymours (handled principally by Robbie Barklem) and would like others to know that the service received has been excellent. You are in safe hands selling or renting your property with Seymours (I have done both). As with any sale, bumps along the road were handled professionally by Seymours - the team pull together well and I have found they are always available to answer any queries. Robbie's negotiating skills are second to none - he handled nervous buyers impressively, showing a fair hand to both buyer and seller to achieve a win-win result. He also went the extra mile seeking information on my behalf for my own house purchase. How refreshing to have a dedicated team and an agent truly with the 'human touch' supporting you amidst all the flurry of paperwork and related stresses of a house sale. Thank you Seymours! .

The staff at Seymours were very patient, always on time, quick to respond and highly professional. If I could score in negatives I would! We have sold and brought many houses but Seymours, Chris and Ben, were absolutely unprofessional and unethical. We had an accepted offer on a house, initially we found it odd why Ben kept calling us every other day even though we had explained we have an appointment next week with the bank. Unfortunately, due to unexpected issues We decided to re-negotiate the agreed offer and when we realised it was not possible we decided to stick with the original offer as we loved the house. Interestingly within hours of this conversation ben let it slip that another buyer had put an offer on the house! How they managed to do that whilst we had an accepted offer is still beyond me! Nevertheless despite sticking with the agreed offer, Seymours started ghosting us! Not answering if we are going ahead with the sale or answering our emails or questions from our bank. After nearly 5 days, Chris told us he will respond to us by Friday and when he didn’t, we called on Saturday And apparently he doesn't work on weekends and he simply had left us hanging! (Who does that in a professional world!?). We then decided to give up on the house and Seymour's NEVER called us back. We wasted 5 days, multiple phone calls and never got a clear answer. I can only imagine , there was something illegal and unethical going on that an estate agent would act in such way, otherwise surely they could have simply replied. If you want a reasonably honest answer dont go here
