Having originally decided to sell our house with a different estate agent, having no success despite many viewings we switched to Robinsons. The staff are knowledgeable and most certainly efficient and focused on making the sale happen. After been on the market for nearly 12 months we switched to Robinson’s and had agreed a sale in just two months. Through the sale the team kept us updated and were excellent at chasing the buyers to make completion. Would highly recommend Mandy and the team.

Very happy with Robinsons. What you see is what you get. There is no hassle, they are helpful but not pushy, and ready to get things done. A chance meeting with Louis from the Darlington office tipped us off about our next home after successfully selling the previous one at a very competitive price. Compliments too to Joy who kept on top of things regarding our purchase even when she was ill. Five stars to all concerned.Well done

I picked Robinsons estate agents to sell two properties because they appeared to offer the best combination of local service and value for money. During the course of the sales there were a number of problems around surveys etc and Robinsons went out of their way to assist. They were always contactable and responsive and came up with solutions which enabled the sales to proceed. They made what could have been very difficult very straightforward, particularly as I do not live in the area. Elaine in particular in the middlesbrough office was great to deal and was very customer focussed. I would not hesitate to recommend Robinsons.

No heavy sales pitches, just friendly , professional & enthusiastic staff. They genuinely wanted to help me find a tenant & they have done this quickly & efficiently. They have talked me through issues I have had & constantly reassured me on points I have risen or worried about .Communication is also a good point .. with regular feedback & updates. I can't recommend them enough , I was recommended to use them & I am so glad I didThanks Robinsons 😁

I wrote this in 2018 and feel the need to share still. Robinsons are an Estate Agents who are unorganised, unmanaged and underwhelming. Throughout my time with Robinsons I dealt with Becky, Donna and Richard from the Middlesbrough Branch who deemed themselves useless and unable to manage any issues. Richard even came to visit the flat we were renting once and told us, ‘everything looks fine’ but then proceeded to tell us it was shocking no one at Robinsons had dealt with our numerous complaints about a leaking toilet and damp bathroom. Becky and Donna repeatedly told us to report it through ‘Fixflo’ which was a bottomless pit for any issues or complaints. The reports made magically disappeared and were unknown to anyone working there. We have emails and receipts to prove we actually reported the broken toilet 4 times in 6 months. Horrendous customer service. When it came time to move out we spent a whole week cleaning the apartment and repainting it White and Magnolia as that is how it appeared when we moved in. Our Landlord came into the apartment with us and told us it smelled wonderful and look great. She told us she was sad we were leaving as we have been the ‘perfect tenants’ and she gave us a hug.3 weeks later, Robinsons eventually conducted their final inventory of the flat and gave us a report which basically stated that the apartment is in the condition it was when we moved in with slight ‘wear and tear’. The only difference was a cobweb and some dust under a radiator. Reading the report we were happy that it showed our hard work to make the flat as is was. However, the report also stated we painted the walls the wrong colour and the whole flat was white. This was wrong and can be seen on Robinsons website that the flat always had a Magnolia feature wall in each room. After speaking with Dan and Dawn at Robinsons on numerous occasions, I finally found out that Robinsons wanted to take £160 for cleaning and £400 to repaint ceilings and walls. Dawn told me, ‘where you repainted, there are splatters on the wall’ which doesn’t match the report Robinsons made. It is also untrue as we had someone in to repaint the apartment for us and they completed an immaculate paint job. It seems Robinsons appear to think they can just take money for whatever they please without having a legitimate reason. Their lack of communication throughout the company really shows when dealing with them regularly. I wouldn’t recommend Robinsons to anyone I know. Their customer service is horrendous. When it came down to it, the final decision determined that Robinsons were in the wrong to try and take so much money and fortunately they only won a small amount. Avoid if possible.
