Since when does an overcharging estate agent request the minimum salary before you apply for a rented property?Probably against the diversity act and gets away with it!

Robinsons were initially very keen to take over listing my property for sale. Fees were agreed as they said they'd match the fees of the company I was currently with. All was good.The property eventually sold, and paperwork was filled out with solicitors etc. On this paperwork information was supplied regarding Robinsons fees etc, as agreed initially this was a price INCLUSIVE of VAT, but when it actually came down to it after the sale was completed, Robinsons were quite happy to inform the solicitors that the cost was actually EXCLUDING VAT. WHY????? I really wasn't happy with this at all, what also annoyed me was the fact I had to pay for Robinsons to have their fee sent electronically, but they only felt the need to return the stolen money via check after they were confronted about it, with a blasé "OH YEAH". This is not acceptable at all. How many other people does this happen too that don't actually check the completion figures.If it wasn't for the issue with the fee, the review rating would have been higher, but unfortunately this isn't something that should be happening.

The initial meeting was very positive but disappointed that measurements were reproduced from previous source and the initial house details omitted three positive features highlighted by us.These were altered/included at our request.Angela was extremely helpful and kept us updated, providing a far better service than our solicitor.

I recently sold a property through Robinson's in Sedgefield and would like to personally praise Sharon who worked tirelessly to make sure everything went through.Through the solicitors it became quite an arduous process but Sharon not only diligently dealt with the work expected of the Estate Agent but ended up acting as go between with the buyers, their solicitors, financial advisors and my solicitors. This work was at times lengthy but I was kept well informed and up to date with developments at all times.I would have no hesitation recommending Robinsons to anyone looking to sell their property.
