I chose Robinsons after another agent was slow to respond taking photographs and Robinsons were prompt in their response and gave a higher valuation (which was achieved). They got my property online within a day or 2 with video etc. It sold within 6 days and liaison with staff was great. Mainly dealt with Joy, nothing was too much trouble. The sale was straightforward and no complications which helps, but no complaints from me.

Renting and selling 2 different properties at the same is very stressful but the team at Robinsons are amazing. Helpful always getting back to me despite me ringing all the time and very professional. They work for the landlord and Tennant and Donna is amazing on lettings. Her and Rob on lettings are so good.Chris and Victoria are brilliant on sales. Victoria’s really helpful keeping calm and always ringing me back honestly this is the best agent by far for lettings and sales.

Robinson's have absolutely fantastic in helping assist us on buying our first family home during Covid it was a rollercoaster of a Journey. We can not thank the truly wonderful Joy for all her help,patience and support along the way. GoogleI would not recommend Robinsons, Chester-le-Street branch to sell a tent, let alone a house! 2 weeks after completion and im yet to get a call from them advising me of this. If I didnt have a great solicitor i wouldnt have been informed of anything. I always thought the estate agents role was to negotiate the sale of a property!!! I had to ring or call into their office for any updates. At one point the manager /valuer asked me if i was not in contact with my solicitor? Not meaning to be rude but exactly what was their role in the selling of my property?

GoogleCoffee / drink stop Stopped on way to and from Edinburgh on National Holiday trip. Lots of potholes in car park need mending and position of cafe coffee counter near outside door meant people were waiting outside to get in. Seems strange. However , we bypassed them and went in very pleasant bar area for a pint. Felt sorry for barman as he could not pull lager as it was so frothy, same problem on both visits so probably manager should sort that out. Otherwise pleasant enough and bar meals they were serving looked good.

Can’t fault them, first class service. Mark is so caring and a genuine man. Nothing too much for him and even when i was asking something which was probably OTT he tried but also was honest at what we could expect and reset our expectations. Very knowledgeable and knows his market. They only charge you if they do the job I just wish I had listened when they first came to see me a year ago instead I went for the what looked cheaper agent but in the long run they took their money set my expectations through the roof and didn’t do what was promised, Robinsons did exactly what Mark said they would. 100% recommend very trustworthy

FANTASTIC SERVICE!!! Robinsons were the second estate agent we engaged with to sell our property and their service was excellent from start to finish (wish i'd gone with them from the start). Everything from the initial meeting right through to viewings and then completion. I couldn't have asked for a more focused and dedicated service. The office staff were on top of every element of the sale and helped navigate us through what is traditionally one of life's more stressful events. Highly recommended!!!!

ABSOLUTELY HORRENDOUS SERVICE AND THE WORST EXPERIENCE I’VE EVER HAD THE MISFORTUNE OF BEING INVOLVED IN. From start to finish, nearly a year from my initial enquiry to buy a property in Hartlepool I can honestly say there is not a chance I will ever deal with this poor excuse of an estate agent ever again and I most certainly would not recommend them to anyone unless being messed around is what your after then these guys are the best in the business. Without wanting to go through every detail and frankly run out of characters in this post I’d simply like to recount my experience and hope they may learn from it. Found a property they were marketing and called on numerous occasions to book a viewing to be told there was a “problem” and viewings were not available at that time. (Can’t remember exact excuse as there have been so many since) This continued for weeks to then be told the property was coming off the market. Fair enough, or so I thought. Then a few weeks later, same property returns to market 12% more expensive 🤷♂️. I mean, that’s a great street to live in right, an increase like that I’m surprised more people didn’t sell up there & then ? I was then allowed to view this remarkable property and decided the price increase was not worthy of an offer due to the fact not a single thing had changed about it in the interim period. I was told (here’s where the facts get a bit hazy) that the seller had originally been offered a part exchange on a more expensive property where the offer was 12% higher than the original asking price. Ok, your the “experts” I thought, I’ll take the explanation in good faith. Decided it was too much for me so continued my search for the coming weeks. The property then reduced by 6% and didn’t sell, then another 6% and ended up back where it started. The shortest property boom in history one might say ! Once it returned bk to its actual value I then asked to view again, this time I managed to get an appointment and after some haggling decided to put forward an offer. Eventually, after some chasing this was accepted and the sales progress (or lack of it in this case) begins. From this point on and in the interest of not putting you to sleep I’d simply say that the process was a continuation of the previous experience but with added amounts of bad service, lack of contact, forgetfulness, blaming of other staff members and a fair amount of excuses (some bordering on the ridiculous) the only thing that wasn’t said was that the dog ate the paperwork. After almost 6 months of my perseverance and my constant struggles to even get someone to call me when promised I was almost at the point of completion when I’m told that “suddenly” the vendors solicitors have now disclosed that there is actually a search telling them a unilateral order exists on the property which was “missed” and states the vendor has secured funding still attached to the property. How on earth this wasn’t disclosed or found until the last minute I’m at a loss to answer but there’s the last excuse given. Ok, enough is enough now, I have pulled out sighting the catalogue of issues, horrendous service & other details relating to this fiasco as my reason. Within minutes the estate agent had sent an email confirming that I had pulled out (quickest part of the last years mess by the way). However, they returned my confirmation with an incorrect address of residence. Hahahaha, UNBELIEVABLE I REST MY CASE !!!Stay away unless you want to be messed about from start to finish.

In your case the price did change as a result of instructions from the owner. This may be confusing but was out of our control.Throughout the sale of a property we try to keep in touch with many people including the vendor, purchaser, solicitors, surveyors, banks and building societies to make sure the sale goes through as smoothly as possible. Sometimes events occur which are totally out of our control and in your case there were events which may have caused you some additional stress. These were due to unforseen circumstances.We do try very hard to assist in the sales process wherever we can and in the majority of cases the sale does proceed to completion without problems.I do hope you have found an alternative property and that it goes through without any problems.Thanks again for your review.Regards.Simon Wright.Director.

We've been using Robinson's the Estate Agents at Chester-Le-Street for the letting of our portfolio for several years now.We let our properties out to working professional tenants and time after time the awesome team at Robinson's, led by their great Manager, Michael Hughes, have come up trumps. Our tenants, found by Robinson's, stay with us for years.We receive an amazing service. Professional, very fast and above and beyond our expectations. Trying to do it by ourselves is a false economy. We have absolutely no hesitation in stating that if you want the right letting agent in your corner then don't look beyond Robinson's.
