Robinsons at Sedgefield: what can we say? It's been a long journey with twists and turns but the team at Robinsons have been with us to guide us and support us every step of the way. Ryan simply could not have done more for us, taking our personal situation into account and being so accommodating in our many viewings and visits to the property. He is a true professional but also friendly and supportive. He met the needs of the whole family and we enjoyed his enthusiastic company enormously. We never met Sharon but spoke on the phone many times. Sharon listened and supported us throughout. She helped us to manage our expectations at various stages of the purchase and went out of her way to assist us to navigate our way through it.They are clearly very busy in that office, and yet Sharon and Jade always made us feel like we were important to them. Whatever they agreed to do they delivered. If it hadn't been for this professional, warm, friendly, passionate team, we would probably have given up on our purchase; but they stuck with us, counselled us through it and we trusted them that it would all be alright in the end. The team at Robinsons in Sedgefield definitely deserve 5 stars! We would recommend this branch to anyone involved in buying or selling property. Sharon and Jade were so helpful over the phone and dealt with all our enquiries in such a friendly yet professional manner and always managed to fit us in with viewings etc as soon as possible even though they had a busy schedule. Nothing was too much trouble for Ryan , he was so friendly and helpful and always turned up on time with a smile on our many visits to the house we were buying. He was there to answer any questions but left us to do measuring up etc in our own time .A big Thankyou to everyone at Robinsons of Sedgefield for first class service !⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️Sue & Greg Forrest

I booked a viewing for a property in Wolsingham which I had to reschedule. I mailed Barbara in their office twice - no response from either so I gave upWhat really annoyed me was the anodyne strap line to this sales negotiator’s email saying “if there is anything I can do please blah blah blah blah”So may I suggest instead of strap line do something real - do what you’re asked It isn’t hard !!!

From contacting Robinson’s and speaking to Jade I knew they were the right Estate Agents for me. Ryan came to value the property and was very empathetic as I was having to sell my deceased sisters house. I couldn’t have asked for anyone nicer and more caring. When I contacted the Sedgefield office all of the staff were really helpful and caring. Sharon would ring with updates on the sale and it actually sold within a week which was excellent. The price that was suggested by Ryan was very competitive and I agreed it was realistic. When the sale was complete and I had questions Sharon would answer them or get back to me very quickly. If I had any further properties to sell in the Sedgefield area I would definitely use the Sedgefield Robinson’s again.

Effective communication skills need to be addressed. I personally don’t believe enough was done and no one got in touch with me every now and again to keep me up to date with their marketing techniques. I have taken my property off the market via email, collected my keys, and not one person has asked me why. That would have been my first job if someone withdrew their property.

Staff at Robinsons Spennymoor branch were very professional. They produced a great sale pack which instantly attached interested buyers and within 5 days, a sale was agreed. They kept me up to date throughout the whole sale process, were punctual with their responses and left no stone unturned, often providing communication between myself and the buyer. GoogleI had a viewing with a chap called Michael on a property that was for let in Dunstable for my daughter who is looking to move into a place of her own. Credit is due, he was punctual, polite and we were both left quite happy with the house and general service from this gentleman. GoogleRobinsons were helpful moving me into the flat but they did not have time to clean before I moved in which I understood and cleaned it myself. I even paid for my cooker to be professionally cleaned which cost me £65.00 Robinsons were very bad at returning or even taking my calls. They ignored emails. It was quicker To go directly through the landlord. When I needed to move out before my contract ended they charged me £500 to re advertise the flat, I paid this. I was ringing regularly to get updates to see if they found a new tenant, once again my calls were ignored. When eventually they found a new tenant robinsons withheld £365 off my deposit saying the flat needed to be re decorated and cleaned. I am still asking for photos as evidence but once again robinsons are not taking my calls, ignoring my emails and have provided no evidence of cleaning or redecoration of the property. I WOULD NOT recommend robinsons. They are unresponsive, unhelpful and unprofessional.NegativeProfessionalism
Sorry Nikki, this is the first opportunity that anyone at Robinsons have learnt of your unhappiness... You were very complimentary of Robinsons and staff members when you dropped the keys back to us when you left the property. We did charge £500.00 which you were more than happy to pay, as you wished to surrender your tenancy 6 months earlier as your circumstances had changed. It was a bumpy ride as you did in fact change your mind on 8 occasions within 10 days but we kept with you and located the new tenant as you had instructed. As you are and were aware the £500.00 was charged to you for the remarketing and all processes involved in releasing you from your 12 month tenancy early, as we wouldn't be able to charge this to the landlord. With regards to the deduction of £365.00 this was made by the landlord who you had direct contact with and not deducted by Robinsons, we did confirm you approach him as you had done so in the past but never heard back from you so concluded you had resolved direct. Sorry you had to bring this to Google and didn't give us the opportunity to resolve, its always helpful as a business to put things right when or if we get them wrong.
