GoogleWorst estate agent experience I have ever had! Between being told that 'fingerprints around light switches' and a 'knotted blind cord' are not wear and tear to the worst communication I have ever experienced with a company, I simply cannot recommend. We have waited weeks for email confirmations, had discrepancies with inventories and to put it bluntly, an awful experience.

GoogleI booked a house viewing with Claudiu in Islington on a Saturday, which was confirmed via phone and email. My husband, 1 year old daughter and I travelled across London to view it and nobody arrived. We were told on the phone that it had been cancelled because it was under offer, and that nobody had bothered to tell us. Don't waste your time with them. There are plenty of professional letting agents in Islington.

GooglePortico manage the property that we rent. Two months in and most of the conditions set out in pre-tenancy agreement have still not been fulfilled. They don't respond to calls or emails. We report faults (some quite major) and nothing is done about it. I genuinely don't think it would be possible for a property management company to be more incompetent.

GoogleMolly (and Ed) really went the extra mile to get us installed in a fantastic home (rented) that we're very happy with. There were numerous glitches on the way (mostly not of their making) which they worked hard and cheerfully to overcome. Some problems with their own systems they might need to look into (how well information is shared around the various offices), but on the whole very positive. And in two months of searching the only places we saw that were really interesting were from Portico

She took into account our feedbacks and adapted her suggestions accordingly. We didn’t feel harassed like with other agencies and at the same time felt our search was handled efficiently. Also, Molly was very available and flexible regarding the viewing times. We would definitely recommend her service.

GoogleHighly recommended I have tried to rent a property with Portico and I can say that I am more than happy with the service provided. Excellent advice and customer service. Claudiu was the agent that helped me with his knowledge about the area and everything I needed to know before renting. Unfortunately I was relocated with my job again so had to find something else.
