Penny and Sinclair have handled my lettings and management in Oxford for nearly 4 years, and I've been delighted with their work. They have always found quality tenants, and they have proactively managed the lettings. They have always been on top of all the necessary paperwork, giving me appropriate reminders and nudges so that we have been able to keep up with the ever increasing admin required to let and manage properties. The team is not only knowledgeable, but responsive and helpful whenever I've had queries or concerns. They also have an excellent network of contacts in property management, and actively seek to help deal with issues, rather than simply try to pass them on to someone else. Working with Penny and Sinclair feels as if I'm dealing with a highly efficient (but friendly) machine. As a landlord, I can be reassured that my tenants are looked after, and my interests are protected at the same time. I would not hesitate to recommend Penny and Sinclair.

Penny & Sinclair was managing my house in Oxford for short rental . In 6 month, I was charged a lot of cleaning fees and also my payment for them to manage the property. When I got my house back it was really dirty and disgusting. I sent photos to them and never got any response. I would not recommend them as they charge a lot but don't really look after your property.

We approached Penny & Sinclair when my family needed short-term accommodation in Oxford this summer. Over three months, we stayed in two areas, Jericho and Summertown, and right from the start, it was outstanding. Georgia Guy, who's in charge of short lets, made everything easy for us, from moving in to leaving. She and her team found the perfect lets for us in no time, understanding exactly what we needed. Throughout both stays, we were in the good hands of Georgia, Emily, and Amber. They paid attention to the little things that mattered to us, especially since we were there with our two daughters. Their prompt responses and the initiative they took to ensure our comfort made it clear they understood the nuances of a travelling family's needs. Getting our deposit back was no hassle at all, and they did so with the highest level of professionalism. What also stood out was how they planned our check-out around our hectic schedule, which meant one less thing to worry about. Penny & Sinclair aren't just doing business. They genuinely care, and it shows in how they treat you. It's like they're welcoming you into a community, not just renting you a place to stay. Had a horrible experience trying to purchase with Penny & Sinclair. Our agent was Angie Parmenter, who told us that the render on the house just needed a "patch and paint", so we offered based on that. Survey comes back and says that the render needs to be redone as it's "near the end of its life" so we lower our offer to compensate for the quotes that we get from local companies. Told that we should get a second survey because our survey is wrong. That the seller is a single parent with lots of loans and "really needs X amount", that they had an offer that was 5k higher than ours initially (later found out, this offer didn't even get to a survey). Seller says that the "render has been there for 60 years and no one on the street has replaced it so it doesn't need replacing". Frankly, if it's been there for 60 years it probably needs replacing?? The average render of that type supposedly lasts 30 years from a quick Google. Calling us at 8am, emailing us at 6am and 10pm. Telling my partner "Oh stop it!" when we try to mention our concerns that the seller is ignoring our concerns. We were convinced that the agent Angie Parmenter had a personal connection to the seller but it was not declared (which, is a legal requirement). Otherwise I just cannot explain her grossly unprofessional behaviour. It's really put us off using Penny & Sinclair although it may just be the agent. We have since bought our house with Chancellor's which, is not great for rentals but actually been okay for buying from our experience. Avoid this agent at all costs. Also just to add - we were CCed into 2 email chains with potential buyers. Angie Parmenter sent them flyers/updates on their house and CCed me in - it was not a house that I was interested in and it definitely broke GDPR rules because these were other people's details who were trying to buy houses with them. Oliver Hope was CCed into one of them.

We had a very good experience to work with Penny & Sinclair while finding a flat to rent and specifically with our letting agent Rebecca Falcini. We were searching for a flat from overseas, and unlike some of the other agקncies in Oxford, they understood the situation and were very helpful from afar. once we arrived to the city Rebecca was friendly and answerקd all our question. We were let to see the property again once we arrived and Rebecca had all our requests filled swiftly even if they weren't in the original letting agreement. We would definately work with them again.
