Oliver and Maisy were so kind and helpful - and extremely understanding of my situation. I was never under any pressure to make a decision and they worked totally with me and at my pace. When we were looking to sell our much-loved family home, we invited three agents to visit. Sean, from Penny & Sinclair, impressed us with his experience of the area. He was confident the house would sell at a significantly higher valuation than the other agents we met, making a good case as to why we should put it on the market at a premium rate. We chose Penny & Sinclair, and Sean didn’t let us down, he diligently and patiently kept in touch with us, fielding our questions (and at times anxieties due to a volatile market). We’ve just completed, and are really pleased with the outcome. Many thanks to Sean and his team!

Outstanding! Sean Herdman-Low of Penny and Sinclair in Summertown Oxford has been an outstanding agent. In the estate agents' world, one does not often come across someone of integrity and decency, but Sean is one of those rare gems. Added to that, he is extremely efficient, hard-working and keeps focussed on the prize, i.e. the sale of the property. Sean helped us sell a difficult flat in difficult circumstances, with the minimum of fuss. His communication is excellent and he is a pleasure to deal with. I lived in an apartment managed by Penny&Sinclair for three years, and the service was outstanding throughout. Their apartments are top-notch truly some of the best properties in Oxford. Rebecca was my first contact and she was amazing. Cindy then took over, followed by Jo, who was fantastic as well. Even when I had to involve TDS for my deposit, Jo responded promptly, checked on my wellbeing, and guided me through the process. She explained things I didn’t understand and continued to support me even after the resolution. Jo also helped me organize when I mistakenly sent parcels to my old address and assisted with references whenever needed. I would absolutely use Penny Sinclair again and couldn’t recommend them highly enough.

Angie and Jo were exemplary agents. They were able to provide great advice and support in the stages after our property was under offer, including suggestions about conveyancers and removalists. Angie also offered helpful advice about our onward purchase. Both Angie and Joe were patient and supportive during the conveyancing process and were incredibly diligent in chasing conveyancers on our behalf when needed. We would thoroughly recommend both Angie and Joe from Penny and Sinclair.

She has consistently found me outstanding tenants for my properties and always manages the process in an exemplary fashion. I have also had the good fortune to work alongside Becky @ Penny and Sinclair when I helped them with property management for a few months in 2023. Becky is professional, courteous, knowledgeable, driven and extremely good at her job. If you’re thinking of letting a property you won’t find anyone better to deliver the result you are looking for. 10!

In our dealings with Penny and Sinclair, we found that all the employees were equally trustworthy and dedicated to making their interaction with the client totally satisfactory. We would always recommend them for the buying or selling of a property. We liked the fact that it was a local agency, very aware of the conditions prevailing in the area. We were concerned about the delays caused by the buyer's solicitor, and we greatly appreciated the commitment of Penny and Sinclair and our solicitor to complete the sale within the required time.

I rented a house where Penney and Sinclair were managing agents and they were very good, wanted to know if I had any problems with the house and made sure both tenants and landlord were happy. I therefore decided to use them as my estate agent to let a property we bought and I could not fault them, they were very professional. I was very pleased with their service.

The whole process was easy and straightforward from start to finish. The house details and photographs produced were to an excellent standard and we managed to secure a tenant within a matter of days.

The team at Penny & Sinclair were transparent, responsive and helpful throughout the sale of my 1 bedroom property in Oxford. They were honest and upfront about the potential sale price (whilst other estate agents wildly inflated the valuation), which I appreciated. The property was marketed in Dec and I had an offer at asking price by end of February. We completed in June. All in all a very positive experience, would definitely recommend.

I wanted to commend the very impressive manner in which our agent Sean Herdman-Low at Penny & Sinclair has taken us through the process of selling our house. I have bought and sold four or five properties over the last thirty-five years and Sean has been far and away the best agent I’ve ever dealt with. I invited five of the main Summertown estate agents to come and value our house and Sean’s obvious enthusiasm for it, and my instincts, told me he would be the right person to sell it for us. From the beginning all his communication has been prompt and clear, he’s intelligent and well-informed, he’s unfailingly professional but also brings a sensitivity and caring to the process which has been very much appreciated during a sometimes stressful process. Great service all round and highly recommended.

GoogleWe can not thank Vanessa enough for all the hard work she put in with both our sale and purchase. We had a few agents around but Vanessa stood out as having experience and was just a lovely person to work with. We were fortunate enough to be selling and buying with Penny & Sinclair so felt completely in safe hands. What turned out to be quite a difficult chain was made easier by Vanessa’s tenacity and attention to detail. I appreciate it’s a team effort so thanks to all at P&S.
