I will say this for the reimbursement: 1. Our curtain use is normal. I send the images you provided to AI for analysis, it indicates improper curtain installation. 2. Under normal use, if the air conditioning or the refrigerator is broken during the stay, do you ask the guest to pay for the repair? 3. You asked for a face to face checkout, and we rearranged our schedule to comply. The damage was never mentioned in the checkout. Also other things led to the one star review: 1. There is no toilet paper in any of the rooms of the property when we arrived. So we have to drive out to the nearest store to purchase them, which is extremely inconvenient. Even though this is promised in the welcome note. I asked about this during our conversation with the host, there is no response. 2. There were 8 dripping wet towels in the dryer when we arrived. We tried to keep the dryer running until the next day and they are still very wet. We had to find places outside to dry them. 3. The washing machine is in a location which is very hard to access. 4. The key lockbox was open when we arrived, the key to the house is in there. Anybody could have just taken the key and went into the house. 5. There is no soap or hand wash or shampoo or anything like this in the house. You're expected to bring your own. Which conflicts with most of my experiences with Airbnb rentals. 6. The cleaning service did such a bad job around the house, we felt like we have to cancel the complimentary cleaning, which we did.

Very positive experience

In the estate agents' world, one does not often come across someone of integrity and decency, but Sean is one of those rare gems. Added to that, he is extremely efficient, hard-working and keeps focussed on the prize, i.e. the sale of the property. I lived in an apartment managed by Penny&Sinclair for three years, and the service was outstanding throughout. Their apartments are top-notch truly some of the best properties in Oxford. Rebecca was my first contact and she was amazing. Cindy then took over, followed by Jo, who was fantastic as well. Even when I had to involve TDS for my deposit, Jo responded promptly, checked on my wellbeing, and guided me through the process. She explained things I didn’t understand and continued to support me even after the resolution. Jo also helped me organize when I mistakenly sent parcels to my old address and assisted with references whenever needed. I would absolutely use Penny Sinclair again and couldn’t recommend them highly enough.

Very very positive experience working with the team! We approached Penny & Sinclair when my family needed short-term accommodation in Oxford this summer. Over three months, we stayed in two areas, Jericho and Summertown, and right from the start, it was outstanding. Georgia Guy, who's in charge of short lets, made everything easy for us, from moving in to leaving. She and her team found the perfect lets for us in no time, understanding exactly what we needed. Throughout both stays, we were in the good hands of Georgia, Emily, and Amber. They paid attention to the little things that mattered to us, especially since we were there with our two daughters. Their prompt responses and the initiative they took to ensure our comfort made it clear they understood the nuances of a travelling family's needs. Getting our deposit back was no hassle at all, and they did so with the highest level of professionalism. What also stood out was how they planned our check-out around our hectic schedule, which meant one less thing to worry about. Penny & Sinclair aren't just doing business. They genuinely care, and it shows in how they treat you. It's like they're welcoming you into a community, not just renting you a place to stay.
