GoogleHaving dealt with many estate agents during both the sale of my old house and the purchase of my new house I can honestly say Oaks was definitely the best of the bunch! Kane in particular was excellent and really listened to what I was looking for, which meant I wasn’t wasting time at viewings. He was also very proactive at following up with all parties post offer and made the whole process a lot less stressful. I would happily recommend Oaks to friends and family.

GoogleVery happy with the team in Oaks. I used their service to sell my flat and they have been extremely supportive and responsive during the whole process. They helped me massively in chasing the different parties involved (freeholders, buyer, solicitors etc.) and keeping me updated. I don't think I could have done it without them. Thank you to the whole team for your support! Especially James and Gabriel for your patience and constant communication.

GoogleHad a really positive experience with Oaks estate agents on our first house purchase. They were always contactable and were so on it with chasing up our solicitor on behalf of us when we were waiting on reports from them, even Gabriel the MD would regularly get in touch with them to try and ensure we could exchange & complete as quick as possible. This was really appreciated as our solicitor was very slow with most things! Due to them being a smaller estate agent it definitely felt like we had a more personable experience and they helped us through the home buying process. Would definitely recommend using them as a buyer as they were so prompt with replies on the many questions we had!

GoogleWe sold our house through the Oaks Streatham branch and have to say that the service was excellent. James, Steven and Kane found us a buyer relatively quickly and negotiated a great price for us. The team were always responsive and helpful throughout the process and kept us fully updated as to progress. I have therefore no hesitation in recommending Oaks Estate agents.

GoogleHorrible experience! They cancelled our appointment to see the property for 3 weeks during the exchange time, every time were found an excuse. We were so upset and we had to contact the area manager and when at the end we went to see the flat we found the reason, lots building works were doing on there without informed us of the problems. Leeks, mold on the wall, repaint the wall and more. All of this 1 week before we suppose to receive the key. No one apology to us, they didn’t tell us what was the problem they just said to go ahead with the exchange, that they will inform the constructor to fix. very disgusting! from the start of the application we found only problem with them, no professional at all, most of the time no reply and documents full of mistakes that we have to tell them to adjust. Hi Valentina, I’m gutted to receive your review. The works that the property needed shocked us as much as it shocked you! But as promised, it was rectified immediately hence why the property resold very quickly. With new builds, work is typically carried out between exchange and completion. With regards to the viewing, we were limiting viewings due to Covid and stopped doing revisits. I’m not convinced this was explained to you correctly hence why when I got involved, we got you down there on the same day. The person responsible for your negative review (and annoyingly the other two I’ve received) is no longer with the business, but I appreciate that this will be of little consolation to you. GoogleWe booked to see a property in Norwood Junction with Oaks Estate Agents today at 1pm. I have a confirmation email from the estate agent. We went all they way there in this cold weather, turned up on time, but there was not agent there. We rang the doorbell, and whoever lives there told us they were not informed that there was a viewing today. We have never encounter anything like this before. It was terrible. Don't use this estate agent because they do not take care of the viewings they've booked, they obviously won't sell your property.NegativeResponsiveness, Quality, Professionalism
Hi Dadiow, Unfortunately, we deserve this review because I've checked our system and you're absolutely correct. I can see that the viewing was booked a while ago and since then, we have had multiple offers on it and it has now sold for in excess of the asking price. As such, it has been removed from the market and other viewings have been cancelled as a result. You should have been informed by one of our colleagues but in his absence, this wasn't done. It will be of little consequence to you I'm sure, but this matter will be dealt with internally and won't happen again.
