It was a stressful experience to buy a property as to be expected when a lot of chains are involved and there was a point when I got very anxious with the unclarity about the dates but Morten (our knight Frank agent) maintained a very good and open communication line with us which helped to reduce the stress in the process , he was also very quick in his responses and also communicated well with our sellers on various matters related to the house. My experience with the apartment letting agency KnightFrank has been overall positive. I have closely worked with the agent Sarah Rynne from the Aldgate KnightFrank office. She is extremely professional and a charismatic person - she helped with every issue we encountered along the way, and went above and beyond to help us out when we needed it, given we were quite stressed and inexperienced with the UK’s letting processes. It was an absolute pleasure having her help us out - and deserves a 10/10, same with the manager Andrew. At other times prior to meeting with Sarah, it felt as if we, tenants, had to ask for various information about our situation. There were times that we felt like we needed to specifically ask about certain details that are necessary to communicate coming from an agency. From our side (the tenants) we even felt like fish out of water when we had to go back to the physical agency to ask for more details, and perceived a sense of judgement from only a couple of surrounding agents that we did not directly deal with, as if “oh great, they are hear again” (mind you, we paid visit to the offices 4 times in 2 months lasting 2 minutes - asking for updates. That says everything). Now, I understand that some tenants don’t care about certain important details, but some do, since it’s not an insignificant amount of money we pay. However, these were some times that some agents could be more sympathetic about the situation, as some people feel more at ease if more important information is communicated rather than not. Overall, some parts of the process were excellent, some could use some adjustments!
