NO ONE replies

NO ONE replies, NO ONE available on the phones.... NO ONE or anyone there gives a dam with selling anyone a house... Lies, Lies and more lies... You telephone them and your told that there is NO ONE in Birmingham's office to sell you a home.... or an apartment.... They a very swanky office in Birmingham City Centre and yet it seems NO ONE works there..... Why does it not allow me to put no stars on here......

Rent at your own risk ! I am a current tenant, facing issues since I moved in. Upon signing the contract, they hunted for the keys for ONE HOUR because it was missing. When I finally moved in, there was no electricity or heating and I called the office, where the guy said he would get back to me ASAP as i had literallyjust got the keys. It was Saturday, they close at 12 and he never rang back. I had to go back to my previous landlord and stay extra 4 days while they sorted it out. Heating/ hot water is often an issue here, common areas are mouldy with fungus on carpet, I will update review with pictures. I also had locks changed recently, where their contractor clearly showed me the extra key he was "supposedly" taking to the office. Then Monks confirmed on phone they never received it and will check with the man, meaning there is a strange man out there with access to my flat, which is scary as a single woman. This also poses a safety issue and being new to town, I will have to seek advice from council/ citizen advice. If you really like a property and want this agent, ONLY do so if you don't have vulnerable tenants, not living by yourself (constant repairs), not a woman new here (safety concern), don't have mental health/ health issues (stress), don't have a social life (poorly maintained, can't have people over). As a single person, it is difficult to stay back for constant repairs from work. They tend to lose their management keys often, so they won't be in for contractors to work. Staff are always rude, and one quick call by anyone to this agent is sufficient to confirm if this is true. Other reviews here also confirm the same. They are decidedly unhelpful on phone, and unless its racial, I suppose it can't be personal, so it is probably the problem as a company. Avoid - unless you have extra time to go behind issues. Or you will be miserable here like me, while you seek to move again (the hassle of finding a new home ! ) A home should be your safe space, and a half decent agent will be better ensure that.

The move in experience was terribly disappointing

The move in experience was not very good. First of all, you promised you will check all the appliances and make sure they are in working condition however, at least 3 broken parts was found by us and when we ask for repairing, we have to wait for 2 weeks. Second, the heating was not working at all, we followed the instructions and no heat is generated. The QR code you send us telling us how to use it is already not working I asked for a new one but no reply. Same as the security camera, no instructions given telling us how to use it. The hot water runs out easily and when we are showering it often turn cold. We ask for check, still needs a long time to do it. Finally your agent is not replying at all. I send messages and he only reads but doesn’t reply at all. I don’t know why this is happening. Sometimes when I have an issue no one is there to help. I know the place where I could get a key just 2 hour before I was arriving at my flat. This was a serious mistake taken by you, I asked you many days earlier about the keys but everyone was not sure. This makes me very angry. Hope you could have done better later.

Fantastic estate agents. Really helpful and super friendly from the evaluation to the sale. Always on the phone/email when needed (even after hours). Selling a house is an extremely stressful thing to do and both Beth and Ethan were always super helpful and friendly despite me, at times, being a little irrational! Would highly recommend.
