I cannot fault the sales department, William and Joseph, as they always answered every email and text I sent them. All my questions were answered clearly and they both had so much patience especially on days I was disheartened at how slow progress was being made which was obviously not their fault as I was in a chain. They kept me updated throughout the process and pushed for the completion. Not once did I feel abandoned - unlike the Lettings department which was the polar opposite experience for me. The tenant found for me destroyed the house and the Lettings department neither apologised, went to see the house or answered my emails. That person is Jibby. No responsibility was taken and four months later, I still haven’t received the information I requested. Again, Jibby. The tenant refused to pay the last month rent so Sushmita paid it from the deposit ‘’because he gave me permission to’’. Absolute joke.

Awful experience renting through Zoe Taylor. The branch and head office lacked clarity on resolution of issues when landlord was in breach of the contract terms. A lot of lip service “…looking into it…” but unless I chased on follow-ups nothing was happening. Phoned and emailed but agent was always “…in a meeting…” go. She’s been in a meeting for three weeks now and still no call back Avoid renting through this company as they have no duty or care for their tenants.

One of the most disorganised organisations I have ever interacted with. In the space of a tenancy just over a year I had repeated turnovers of property managers at the place I rented. Not once did the outgoing property manager communicate their departure or the new one announce their arrival, each time you’d find out after being met with an email bounceback or phone that rings through. Zero handover would be done, meaning a constant stream of different people managing our issues, not relating nuances of the situation and significantly prolonging the process of fixing issues.

I was working with an agent who was very understanding and considerate of my situation and was happy to show me multiple properties with a huge smile even when I didn’t like some of the properties he continued to help me to find other ones! I would give him 5 stars 🌟 because he honestly tried and put a lot of work into finding our family somewhere, even when I became emotional he reassured me constantly that we will keep looking until I find my place and eventually we did but it was sadly ruined by another agent who called himself the “manager” who clearly had no managerial skills. His name was Daniel Scott. Absolutely awful, left me feeling anxious, tearful, intimidated and questioning my ability to choose what I want or ask what I want! My situation changed once I made the offer and I asked for the unfurnished instead and for the move in date to be 2 weeks later. Daniel got very rude with me over the phone, blamed me for requesting changes and said now he had to withdraw the already accepted offer and that as I requested for a change he demanded I add an extra £100 and re-offer higher price. It felt like I was being punished. As a tenant I should feel safe to request for what works well for me and my family. Daniel forgot that tenants pay his wages and without tenants he cannot have a job. Such an ignorant person. Such a shame that Foxton have these type of employees who cause nuisance to their tenants. I will make sure everyone knows about this as I don’t any other person to pay deposit of some sort and suffer like I did. I had so much faith when working with the initial agent but Daniel has ruined that for me and made me feel as a tenant I am worthless to them. I hope Foxton investigate into this. Daniel needs to go back to re train about customer service and how to manage and respect people, especially when they are reason you have a job and getting paid! I only gave one star otherwise I couldn’t share my experience with others.
