GoogleJust had a viewing with them and the "consultant" William Marques was terrible. Arived to the viewing 20minutes late, when I asked "can you tell me about the property" (a question that shouldnt be that challenging) all i got was attitude mixed infotmation or no information. I would have offered on the property but the thought of dealling with him and them was a massive turn off. Avoid this agency landlords.. please.. for your propertys sake!

GoogleMy girlfriend and I recently bought a flat in the Tooting area and they were excellent! From the initial viewing through the offer process and to completion I cannot fault them. We were competing with a cash buyer through another agent and Philip (the sales negotiator) did a tremendous job to convince the buyer that we were the better option. At the vendors insistence we were forced to move fast so went from viewing to completion in 20 days (which is a crazy pace but didnt bother us as house prices were climbing by the week!) but we felt supported and informed every step of the way with the Ludlow team happy to work with us to push the deal through. I cannot recommend them highly enough given the level of professional service and attention they gave to our situation. To move quickly we also used their recommended solicitors and mortgage brokers who were also excellent. I would say that we found a gem of a property in the area and were hugely fortunate to have an agent that looked after us in our first residential property purchase. Highly recommended!

GoogleThe worst experience in my life! I found a property through the Dulwich agency office. The person who showed me the place and was dealing with this property was Hannah. After the offer stage where there was other people wanting this place and we had to put a few offers, I was assured by the agency that my final offer is now accepted and we can proceed to the referencing process and if there is no problems with it, I am definitely getting the property. When I had any questions and was calling the agency, they were always saying they will call me back and they NEVER did, I had to call them again! However, I have started the process and after that I gave my notice at the property I was living at that moment. I have provided again my bank details to the agency for the second reservation payment. About a week later, just few days before I had to move out from my current place, the agency called me and told me that the landlord has given the property to other people who have passed the referencing process first from other agency!!! I then of course thought since I have paid the reservations fees there will be some consequences for the landlord and he would not be able to give the property to others, but I was wrong because apparently the agency did not took the second payment from me and they said that there is nothing they can do, because of that! They said that the only thing they can do is to offer me other place, but then it turns out that they did not have any matching my requirements! I could not even put a complaint or even speak to the office manager, because he was always "busy" or "not in the office"! I had to move to friends house until I found another property! I also had to call the agency a few weeks later to remind them that they still haven't refunded my money!!! I would definitely NOT RECOMMEND THIS OFFICE TO ANYONE! Really unprofessional, unorganised and only caring about money!

GoogleThe worst agency i've been dealing with. They always take ages to reply to your request even when you are facing a problem with your property. They are also never really helpful and unprofessionnal. They don't seem to have a clue of what is customer service. Really dont recommend this agency and probably not this company, regarding the other comments.

GoogleAs a landlord they were great at getting a tenant (advertising, getting the asking price, organising check-in, etc...) but then dreadful thereafter. Why do I need to phone up over 5 times to get a copy of my statement or for you to arrange for the tenant to check out. All in all, pre-sales = good, post sales = poor

GoogleDon't bother! It is not worth it. no matter how much you want the property or whatever they promise you, they lie 99% of the time. I wish I never did business with them now I am stuck in a contract and from the minute you signed they don't care about anything anymore. I.e. they don't reply to phone calls and emails, they don't keep their promises and don't even adhere to their own terms. they double charge landlords and tenants for things that are not even being done, e.g. professional cleaning. Then they blame other people for it. It is getting to the point where it is so ridiculous you just give up complaining and let the evil win. Just don't bother, these guys are the reason estate agents have a terrible reputation.

GoogleTom Sergeant - no hot air, just good advice. Can't stand estate agents who are fresh out of university and know nothing. Tom knows what he's talking about and doesn't push useless info and agent phrases at you.

GoogleI rented a property threw this agency few years ago. Letting agents were helpful n polite. Especially Jibby. Unfortunately when I had to deal with their head office I was very disappointed. I have never seen that kind of attitude in customer service. They never have any time to answer my call, give me a wright information... Many times I have been told that responsible person will call me back, but during all contract he never did, I guess they are saving money for telephone bill.. Just useless ppl. Wouldn't pick this agency again, just because head office.

GoogleIncompetent staff, terrible service, unexplained costs and general lack of professionalism . We were lucky that our Landlord was great and didn't have to deal with this terrible agency directly for the majority of our tenancy. Ludlow failed to complete even the most basic of administrative tasks, leaving us constantly in the lurch. At the end of our tenancy they then wanted to charge us £400 + to have the property professionally cleaned (bearing in mind the new tenants were moving in 2 days after we vacated the property, I fail to see when this would have taken place). They failed to notify the landlord they were even re-letting the property causing great confusion! Being promised a check out on our moving out day we rushed to get everything ready, only for Ludlow not to turn up. They then had the audacity to charge a 'check out fee' of £106, having not communicated this at all, they simply debited the Landlords account without asking. If we had chosen to stay in the property they wanted to charge a further £140 despite having no communication with them throughout the year (I fail to see where that £140 would be going aside from their greedy pockets!!) I certainly would not recommend Ludlow, shambolic service - the worst letting agents I have encountered by a long way!
