Do not buy on the development it says there was going to be a play park as their isn't any round here and for us that was important due to having kids. We had to pay a lot of money out to have garden re done as linden didnt wanna know cant open windows properly and all my floor down stairs is scratched and linden will not take responsibility. With all these bad reviews why are people still buying of them that's why they dont give a dam because they know people will still buy

Having initially given 5 stars I’m sadly reducing this to one.Verbal abuse from the site manager. 20 snags outstanding one year on. Impossible to sit in my garden in the summer due to the site kicking sand up like a Sahara desert storm. Site manager thought it acceptable to take (he said he borrowed it when confronted) my neighbours wheel barrow. Then gave me a load of abuse when I went to find who’d taken it. Shocking treatment or customers and lack of respect. There’s a Barrat Homes site next door in Doncaster; I’d look at buying one of those and give Vistry/Linden a wide berth.

Stay well clear of this company. Everyone I speak to on the estate has had enough of them. Shoddy work, crap customer service.Since moving in we have had the entire house re painted, downstairs flooring replaced, back garden needs digging up as it floods, front garden has been laid twice and is still shocking, all of the glass in the windows needs replacing because it’s all scratched. Jus appalling.

We were interested in 2 properties, the first one we went to an independent mortgage broker which gave us an agreement in principle (DIP), as we were told that we need this to book the appointment only later after the viewing to be told that we needed to go via home reach as they were their mortgage brokers and they only dealt with them, so we could not resave this plot. After no communication for over a week from Home Reach we had to complained to get them moving! on the DIP. In the meantime we called the sales staff only to find out that we had lost our first choice, so we started process for the DIP again only to find out that we had lost a 2nd property of our choice - we can reserve one which is not built, they cannot show us on the site as they are still building where it will be etc. so we cannot get a feel for where it will be etc. If we put down the deposit and back out we lose £500. They are rude, don't answer calls when you leave messages, willing to put our name down if we want to be 2nd on the list!! if it falls through. My friend had to complain as she lost her first choice through them - too many sales staff and no passing on messages, they like to use their own brokers and solicitors but don't tell you the process. Don's go there as they have a back hander in everything - you lose out every time!!!

Got this new apartment. Defect co-ordinator is very slow in give us a response and the whole process of dealing with snagging issues is very slow. Need to send them two emails everyday to remind them again and again. Also, they have worst soundproofing in the apartment. Tube underground passes by from our apartment and its a shock to hear tube noise after every 5 mins.

I have been trying for over a week to speak to someone just to get some more information about the homes available etc but so far I've not heard back from anyone yet. Really makes you wonder what their customer service would be like if you choose to buy a home with them... Clearly, all the reviews suggest that they don't have good customer service at all and it seems they're not interested in making that good. I don't get why do they advertise all these properties if they don't want to sell them! Another interesting point to make: one google review suggests that they are discriminatory against foreigners....I am foreign myself and I am really starting to think that it might be true!

The homes they build are NOT SAFE. They used highly flammable building materials and have refused to take responsibility. Due to this it's not possible to get a mortgage company to lend for a mortgage on one of their (illegal) properties but even if it was.. AVOID AT ALL COSTS.

Built my high rise flats with NO FIRE SAFETY - missing cavity barriers, missing fire breaks. FLAMMABLE cladding! I’m now stuck in limbo waiting to find out how much this is all going to cost me (25 years old) as the government fund doesn’t cover half of it! Up until 18 months ago, I would have given more stars. Since then there has been various issues with the drainage system which has meant that the road cannot be surfaced. Finally in the Autumn of 2020 the iron works were raised which suggested the road would be surfaced. However, as of February 2021 this still has taken place. This is causing issues for pram and wheelchair users as the curbs are too high. It’s affecting our cars as you can’t avoid going over the raised iron works. It’s meant that the council can’t adopt the road, so we can’t have a grit bin. We had a letter to say it would be surfaced w/c 1st Feb. Then on the 5th Feb we were told that due to adverse weather it couldn’t take place. However, that week our town had no adverse weather. We were told it would be surfaced the following week, but we knew this wouldn’t take place as we had been forecast snow. Yesterday we got told that due to health and safety of the workers, another meeting is needed on the 1st March. Seems Lindens don’t care about our health and safety....they have our money and now couldn’t care less

We as a family started our journey with linden homes in February 2020 at the brockworth Perrybrook Site , we had been looking for a new home for a while and I called in on my way home from London and met Dan for the first time , he was very courteous and attentive during that first meeting and made me feel at ease and very welcome. We met again the next day this time with my wife and the decision was made to purchase plot number 13. The process went very smoothly until cv19 and the lockdown however I have to say Dan and the team kept us updated at all times during a very frustrating period for us all, we finally moved in to our new house in October and I have been very happy with our treatment right the way through the process a very professional organisation all the people we have dealt with have been a credit to Linden and Dan has been exemplary from start to finish a true professional , I am a Sales Director myself working in the fenestration industry so I really do know what exemplary looks like and Dan personifies this.Well done to all at Perrybrook Linden and I was a little apprehensive as this is my first New build purchase but I would happily recommend Linden and the team . We have been in our new Linden Home in Sherford Plymouth now for just over 7 weeks. The sales team in particular Karen Dove with the help of Debbie really did all they could to help us secure our dream home and we cannot thank them enough. Since moving in we have been in the hands of the site team for our snags and outstanding works. Matt O'Connor has been very good and advised of works and helped organise trades to return to clear issues we have had, we can't fault him. If I could give no stars I would. Such a bad service. Just emailed a complaint but don't suppose I'll get a response from that either. Had to jump through hoops for affordability check even when you know you can afford it. Declined and cancelled our viewing because I cant get Aprils tax return before 5th, even when bank statements and service contracts can be provided and if it take 6-9 weeks to complete I'll have the return by then. Mortgage team were rude and made me feel like I wasn't worth anything and would never own my own home. Lady I just spoke to from Linden after days of trying to speak to someone was rude, arrogant, condescending, patronised me and didnt like it when she got it back from me and raised her voice at a customer! Absolutely appalling way to deal and treat with customers.
