Wouldn’t ever buy from linden again - had a gas explosion/leak within a week of being in the property as someone hasn’t tightened metal work properly. Dangerous communal areas with service charges which are ridiculously high for no service or maintenance done, appalling customer service when you do try to rectify things! Don’t buy!

Very disappointed by Linden. Our development has been left in a dire situation. No communication, no responsibility taken by them. It has become a danger for our children to be walking around because of the poor state it has been left in. How they get away with it is beyond me?! Seriously think about buying a property from these developers.

The site I own a property on in Surrey has still not been finished and I have lived there for nearly two years. There are serious health and safety risks around the whole site and linden seem to have down tools and disappeared. The quality of build is rushed and has never been snagged properly 1 year after as they said they would for settlement cracks etc, plus we have had some tiles fall off our house and we are still waiting for them to be fixed.

Awful customer services - we were handed over a home that wasn’t finished (and still isn’t 18 months on). Communal areas left unfinished and unsafe, no maintenance, we had no streetlights for over a year...the list goes on!!!

Been trying to arrange viewing for 2 days and no one got back in touch even though message left.Got through to central office and spoke with 'Keisha' (spelling may be incorrect). She was rude, spoke over me and wouldn't listen to me! Disgraceful for someone who should be promoting sales and customer satisfaction.She is obviously in the wrong job!And as for the company...If you want to sell houses have people available to deal with prospective buyers!If a message is left someone should respond to that message the same dayI am in disbelief at the service!!! Atrocious!!

AVOID AT ALL COSTSSome of the worst customer service I have ever experienced. Rude, arrogant and utterly disrespectful. They do not value you as a customer! As other reviewers have posted the communication is terrible. You constantly have to chase them. Their tone is terrible and they do not value you. You will chase and chase them. Building work is at the lower end of the building regs and they cut a lot of corners. They charge you for EVERYTHING. They are the Audi of houses. The standard model gives you nothing! My advice - Don’t go near.

So so so soooo bad.Buying our first flat together at the moment, really loved the look of a Linden home apartment on paper - great location. etc. Went to view the property - the build was terrible, no walls or woodwork aligned properly, the whole thing was a bodge job. Huge cracks across the flooring in all the rooms. The attitude of the sales person was clear they just wanted us to handover cash as quickly as possible - boasting about how quickly we could be in. They also didn't own the land either - so they were doing it 'on behalf of a partner'. Which all seemed a little fishy to me - could be exposed to some high rates there. I feel sorry for anyone who buys that place.Anyway thanks for the honest reviews - I really dodged a bullet.

The communication from Linden/Vistry homes is appalling. We had to cancel a reservation and after reading reviews for aftercare service I think we had a lucky escape.It took 6 weeks to get our deposit back after endless emails and phone calls. Think very carefully before handing any money over!

We have bought a new Linden House in Bath on the Ensleigh site. We love it.There are snags that need addressing like every new build but every time I have needed some assistance the people have been really easy to get hold of, reply immediately and have on the whole sorted things out very quickly.Sales team were great. Moving was very convenient.I have been very impressed with the builders too who work so hard in the very cold winter months too and are now returning during the Covid crisis. They are always really cheerful and polite and work very hard!This company must have been hit really hard during this crisis but they are cracking on with it and doing a great job.I love the design of the house, plenty of space in the correct places and it looks fab. Paint is pretty thin so when you touch it, it marks or comes off but guess that is the first coating on plaster so it will need re painting.Stay safe and well.Best wishes

Unsafe sites that’s look vile for homeowners to live on. Rude staff who have screamed “unlucky you puss” when fallen from bike. Disgusting. Wouldn’t buy a house from these if it’s the last thing I do.

New Brunswick area- My house had lots of snaggs a year on now not yet resolved. Sometimes you go to customer care team with a problem and they pass it onto the sub contractors and then they contact you to fix the thing. It's a very long and tedious process which is inefficient. Lots of stuff has been fixed not always to the highest standard. Still love my first home and I cant complain about the location. Sales team are pushy and don't inform you at all where the annual charge goes to.

Initially good and attentive but numerous problems and shirking of responsibility. Build quality not good. Plumbing was dreadful And have had issues for 5 years. 2 houses on are development had their roof blown off and ours was not properly secured!!

Please dont wast money we bought a house at barley field and the finishing touches are just a mess it does not look like a brand new home at all. I was better of buying a house someone has lived in and doing it up myself

I was very shocked to see the negative comments on here. I have just purchased a property at the Oak Park Development in Tockwith, and since stepping through the sales door to walking into my own home the service has been second to none. Prior to purchasing the house Amy Stewart showed me around the house and told me all I needed to know, she made me feel so comfortable and wasn’t pushy giving me all the time I needed to view the properties I liked. Amy liaised with me throughout the entire process and has been an absolute god send, the support she has given throughout the process has been fantastic and has made the purchase exciting and stress free, she was so supportive and I knew she was just at the end of the phone if I had any queries and was very time efficient with everything. Connor who was also in the sales office was also very helpful, approachable and gave me the time I needed. Since moving into my home, the site manager John has been in regular contact ensuring the house was built to a sufficient standard; he is knowledgeable and contactable and he does as he says. Even with Covid the service I have received has been amazing and I couldn’t be happier. I can’t thank them all enough.

Bought a house in borehamwood back in July 2017. Same comments as everyone else, as soon as we gave them money it was impossible to get them back. We have 3-4 doors with gaps from the floor to the bottom of the door of at least 3cm so sound travels easily and it’s a larger gap than NHBC state. Had a huge snagging list that never got finished even after numerous emails. Insulation from our garage is awful so we have had to get someone round to finish properly. Love the layout of the house but incredibly poor finish and quality from Linden. Would never buy from them again or recommend to anyone else. I know there’s not much on the market but their properties really aren’t worth it. Go for a smaller developer who has quality control checks as these guys clearly don’t.

Linden are building a new estate in Thurston, Suffolk. They have Outline planning permission for up to 200 homes on the site. Their detailed application has now shown that 191 houses will be squeezed in to 2/3 if the site and they will then apply for further housing ( making it more like 300) on the site. They are abusing their power and planners seem incapable of stopping them.

Do not use their financial services, source financial products through an IFA....They will ask and pester you to fill out a survey my advice here is simply wait. Wait until all snags have been fixed correctly and then review the whole experience from start to finish.My experience is that you'll provide a more accurate response.Note of caution Linden will contract out maintenance of the development where you brand new house is being built, in my case its a absolute con very expensive for little in return. Linden take an age to sign over the development too, this stops you and fellow residents form forming you own management committee and kicking out the incumbent company which I won’t name just in case.

0 stars for this s*** of the earth. Still waiting for customer services to get back with several issues after months of negligence. They are a real waste of money and resources. Their contractors are all dodgy like them doing half con jobs. Simple advise. Don't buy from them unless you want to waste your money and lose your mind chasing them up.

Purchased in july 2019 on the saint george wood site morpeth. Couldnt be more happy yes we had a few snagging issues which we did expect as not everything can be perfect . Our experience with the customer service has been fine . The site manager is very knowledgeable and gives advise when required . I would and have recommended the site to potential buyers.
A review that appears on several offices' pages is shown once. We leave out reviews that name another agent.
