I have been working for Lambert Smith Hampton for 9 months now as a Graduate Surveyor. On an individual level, the company took a chance on hiring me and have been exceptionally supportive and understanding. They have offered solutions to my large commute (Nottingham to Birmingham) and helped me to really flourish in the commercial property industry. All members of staff in the company were and continue to be welcoming, easily approachable and willing to help out in any situation they are able to. From any early stage, I was given responsibilities and provided with opportunities to prove my own abilities and to apply my theoretical knowledge that I had learnt from my University course. I was given freedom to do my own work while in the constant knowledge that should I need any help or have any queries, that someone is always there to provide assistance. In terms of the company, they recently moved to the 2nd floor of the building into a newly renovated office space in order to accommodate agile working. The office itself is modern and stylish and provides a variety of working environments such as; open office, library/silent working spaces and break out areas. This has allowed the company to get the most from their individual employees as they are now able to work in the conditions that most suit them. I have a lot to thank this company for and I would without a doubt recommend applying to both this company and the Birmingham Office.

man what a painful transaction with this guys at the helm.... tried to get a council unit took an unreal 4.5 months from start to finish , i couldnt afford a private unit so had no choice but to ride the storm with these guys and Birmingham city council, After countless lets downs, non communication , more times that you'd even believe just plain ignoring me, it finally came good nut not without insane levels of stress, im now in said unit... Honest to god one of the worst experiences ive encountered professionally in a long time... if you can avoid these guys at all costs.. and finally i can now see why BCC is on the edge of financial crash. The overall star rating is so low for a reason. Interestingly all the GOOD reviews appear to come from people working for the company, not the people USING the service!!! whats the point of that?

I'm pretty much of the same opinion as the other two reviewer's. LSH couldn't give a damn about any one bar for themselves ,they are the most conceited and obnoxious company you will meet.They never ,and i repeat never return calls but are always the first to get their invoices out to you come hell or high water. Avoid at all costs or you will live to regret it.

Worst tenancy agency ever. Avoid as much as you can. They are not sorting issues and dont responding emails, calls, etc for 3 years! AVOID!!

Very bad customer service.

LSH are the managing agent for my block of apartments. They supply no communication and do not respond to mine or my neighbours simple queries. They are being paid by us residents but have no respect for them. It is bad practice and very disappointing from such a large organisation. I wouldn't recommend them to anyone.

LSH are utterly awful - and have given no care for the safety of residents in my block. At one point we had a broken front door for 3 weeks and bins constantly blocking another fire exit - leaving only 1 left. Wholly incompetent and almost NEVER reply to emails without resending 5 times.... A dreadful company who MASSIVELY overcharge and don't care at all about their customers.

Professional rip off artists. How they get away with demanding monies and and sending threatening letters is criminal. Companies like this need to be regulated or they will continue to take advantage of vulnerable people. Myself and some neighbours manged to get the Barret homes to withdraw their services from out estate. Be aware of these con artists.

I had a terrible experience with LSH. They rank as one of the worst companies I've ever dealt with. I attempted to purchase a bar in Leicester and wanted a relatively quick sale. The customer service I experienced was terrible. My enquiries were never, I repeat, never answered by email. All of my phone calls went unreturned, without exception. I had to chase up every single time. In the end, I emailed the current owners directly explaining that I couldn't deal with LSH and that they had cost them the sale. A terrible company, with an arrogant disdain for customers.
