Incompetent, unprofessional, pathetic - they are a joke! Reported issues are ignored, when they promise they will back, they never back, they have problem with arranging even simply repairs in reasonable timeframes. If there are more issues, they are lost, it is too complicated for them to manage, so, waiting a half of year or a year for something, it is their standard. Their strategy are: excuses, empty promises and silence/ignoring part of the message/email. And on the end they blame tenant for their failure. I strongly discourage using their service.

A young man from John Sheperd Estates called Kelvin Zakeyo was so helpful and kind over the phone. Such a lovely chap who really cares about the customer and goes out of his way to help that person . He has Amazing qualities which shine through . One of the nicest people ever. He is an absolute gem and asset to his profession . Couldn't ask for better .

Awful company

Awful company (Nottingham) when they were Tassi lettings, might be even more useless now as John Sheperd. Was told before getting a student house to be wary of this company as apparently it’s common procedure from them to take most of your deposit and provide the worst customer service you’ve ever seen. Takes 10 calls to try and sort something out, when staff say they will call back by the end of the working day, it is proven that it is just a lie (found out by the 10th time I waited for a call back).

For 9 days

For 9 days, Simon, who was responsible for my case, told me that he could not reach the landlord. In the end, he said that the landlord refused me simply because I had just graduated from university. During this period, I had to stay in an Airbnb for 9 days, yet I did not receive any apology from either him or the company. I believe they are not doing their job properly and do not care about their clients.

Incapable of good service

It never ceases to amaze me of the repellent repugnant nature of estate agents when you ring or email. The worst of these by a country mile is John Shepherds and it’s apparent regardless of which branch you use! Haven’t spoken to them for 20 years due to bad service received previously but did today on someone else’s behalf and they’re even worse than last time! It’s a people business & EVERYTHING revolves around the quality of your customer service, who on Gods green earth trains these people!

John Shepherd has been managing my flat in Birmingham city centre, and overall, they’ve done a good job. From the beginning, they’ve been responsive and helpful, definitely better than competitors, based on what I’ve heard. I’d like to specifically praise Alisha Donaldson, who has been an outstanding employee. After my flat was flooded, there was a huge volume of emails from myself and other involved parties, yet Alisha remained incredibly helpful and professional throughout. She managed communication with unresponsive tenants and coordinated contractors efficiently. Her dedication and calm handling of a stressful situation truly stood out.
