Jon made sure the flat was cleaned and had a proper kitchen floor installed before I moved in, which was the only concern I had about the property. So, the agents did their job properly! And cheaper fees compared to other State Agents in Cardiff. I only didn't like their automated emails for payments and reference requests as I personally prefer direct contact with people, but I would really recommend them!

I found the Jeffrey Ross agents to be punctuation and professional while viewing flats, and found their online systems very effective when it came to putting in an offer on one of the properties I found through their website. They have been strong communicators for the most part, responding to queries in good time. However, due to a communication issue, our moving in day was slightly more stressful than it needed to be. In spite of that small glitch, I would recommend Jeffrey Ross to my friends and have been happy with their services since settling into my new flat.

Great estate agent with a large numbers of buyers on their list. We had 15 viewings in one morning and sold the house in a couple of days. Jess, Sharon and Laura, who we mainly dealt with, were extremely efficient and friendly. In particular, they were proactive, rather than needing to be asked, chasing up all parties (including us!) to ensure we were all at where we needed to be.

In short : Fine when there are no maintenance issues and you don't need to interact with them but terrible if there are maintenance issues. While some staff are very good others clearly do not care in the slightest and/or are disorganised. More details: I thought they would be a better agency to rent from as they gave the appearance of being more professional however like the vast majority of estate agents all they care about is getting your rent money, which I will mention, I always paid on time and never had an issue however there was a leak in the flat above mine that resulted in my flat’s bathroom being near unusable and it also tripped the electrics so the kitchen area was off, as a result no fridge/freezer or cooker. I informed Jeffery Ross that the water was leaking through the light fittings in the bathroom (I would call this an emergency). Incredibly the appointment booked to solve this was cancelled by Jeffery Ross and I spoke to some smug person over the phone who seemed incredibly nonchalant (because not being able to shower or cook is fine). His response was it wasn't their problem and Jeffery Ross' duty of care to tenants is non existent. So would I recommend them? No, unless you want to be treated like a second class citizen. The other thing I will mention is on more than a few occasions Jeffery Ross had a very different understanding of 24 hours notice to me for flat viewings, 6pm the day before for a 10am viewing is not 24 hours not is phoning just before your offices close so someone is unable to phone back to cancel the less than 24 hour appointment any good. My advice to anyone looking to rent in Cardiff, go private.
