GoogleFirst I would like to say I was a huge fan of this estate seller back in 2021 when I first encountered the estate agent. HOWEVER Maddie Parker you have overstepped the MARK!! Jointly purchased property was put on the market I believe in October 2023 2 months later I received an email the 2nd of it's kind from Maddie Parker insisting we reduce the asking price on the property!! When in fact it is not your decision to suggest!! Clearly as a sales progressor I understand her role is to make necessary suggestions HOWEVER it's been on the market for 2 months and already it's being insisted on us reducing the property price in value due to the market!! Which today Tuesday 20th December there have been suggestions the market interest rate will potentially fall which will make mortgage rates slightly more affordable and may encourage people to afford and make an offer. I felt like the decision around the discussion was taken out of my hands and they were trying to take advantage of the social circumstances surrounding the reason for selling the property. Please I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND JEFFERY ROSS FOR THIS REASON!! Too pushy standards have gone down hill the email Maddie wrote the first like stated "The market has been incredibly frustrating" who wants to open an email with a line like this in reference to the background of the market in the selling of their home!! Very unprofessional to be using strong language like this. MARK MY WORDS DO NOT 🚫 GO with them!!!

Good evening Pelumi, I wanted to respond immediately to your review and ask why this couldn't have been escalated to your valuer or branch manager in Llanishen that are currently looking after you. Maddie is a valued member of my team as well as her Sales progressor role she is also a key member of our Vendor contact team. Her update wasn't meant to offend but to highlight just where the market above £300k has been for the last 6-8 months and to highlight that even though December is a slow month, Boxing Day and New years Day are two of the busiest in terms of online activity, Hence the request to discuss the best steps forward. I have read the email that has been sent to you both and fail to understand where your social situation comes into it. I also have to disagree with the language used, as this part of the market has been extremely frustrating for all parties, we have seen property views online reach un-precidented level but not materialise into viewings or offers, so fail to understand how this could be seen as unprofessional? As a family run business we pride ourselves on our reviews and take bad reviews seriously. I'm happy to discuss this further but totally understand if you wish to take your property elsewhere. As you know we have a no tie in contract and should you feel that you are unable to work with us based on the above then I would be happy to let you leave without prior notice. GoogleWe were tenants with this agency for 2 and a half years and never caused them or a landlady any troubles. But now after we moved out 5 weeks ago it's so difficult to have our deposit back. And one of the reasons is that this agency simply ignores our letters and calls and doesn't voluntary provide any updates on our situation. We don't know how much a landlady wants to hold, the dates or how long we should wait for a response - nothing. As there was noone to provide us a communication or support we had to initiate a DPS procces.

GoogleI have been very impressed with the service I have received from Jeffrey Ross. Amanda attended my property and provided me with a valuation and all the details of the service they provide. I was more than happy to put the sale of my property in their hands. Very quickly all the details were produced and the marketing began. The property was sold within less than two weeks. However, this is only part of the service. All the legal procedures have to be then carried out and I was allocated Maddie to smooth the process. To me this was very important to have someone I could contact at any time to find out how the sale was progressing. Maddie was always willing to chase things on my behalf and keep me informed which I found invaluable. I would have no hesitation in recommending Jeffrey Ross to anyone who has a property to sell.

GoogleWe went with Jeffrey Ross after three failed attempts with another Estate Agent. The difference was unbelievable and within a few days of being on the market with JR, the house sold. Proper due diligence was done to check the viability of the buyer which made a huge difference and the sale sailed through to completion. We were kept updated by Maddie on a very regular basis. A very proactive and thorough agent. Thank you all.

Walked in on a Saturday afternoon just to.check if any properties due to come on the market in Pontcanna as we had already been to view 3 other properties but there were 8 others in the queue to view them and we were unsuccessful. After checking the website on a daily basis,I thought it may be helpful while passing to call in and ask . I was greeted with someone that clearly thought I didn't know how to check on the website and looked shocked that I was bothering to even ask. As it happened there was a possibility of a property coming onto the market on Monday but it was clearly not a question to ask an estate agent. So if you are thinking customer service is going to help by calling in,don't bother wasting your time with a staff member who was clearly irritated at being asked information.

Bitterly disappointed, as the valuer came out to the property and discussed a marketable price and negotiable terms of contract. When confirmed in writing both were different to our meeting. Consequently, I have no confidence in them as felt deceived.Thank you for your reply - my original point was regarding the valuation and commission. When I contacted the office following the email they were adamant that the email from Lewis didn't say that the commission wasn't negotiable my point was that neither did it say it was negotiable as Lewis had said when we met. Yes, you have left voice messages but as what was said has not been confirmed in writing or backed up verbally, I do not wish to deal with Jeffrey Ross.

Thank you for your review but we feel it important to reply, here, as we feel there has been a misunderstanding of the process and valuation appointment with Lewis (whom you met at your property)Lewis carried out the valuation and sent across the standard, 'post-valuation' letter which confirms our thoughts on values and an overview of our services and approach to the house sale. This is by no means a contract or a binding document - 1% + VAT is the standard fee we would offer for a property like yours but any negotiated terms are signed on the contract between us and you so is confirmed at the time of signing.As such, we were surprised to read the review as had no contact from you since (despite follow-up calls)We would welcome the chance to work with you on the house and would welcome any further feedback you may hold.As a family-run business we take feedback and reviews very seriously but feel yours to have been written without full information on our processes so hope the above explains our position, somewhat.Kind regards,JonJeffreyRoss

GoogleThe team was really helpful and responsive throughout the process of purchase. The provided estate video and interactive floorplan made a huge difference for online viewing. Sarah in particular was really efficient in solving numerous problems and linking us with the seller's side. Was a sound experience overall and would definitely recommend it.
