GoogleWe recently sold and brought through hilbery chaplin and I cannot fault anything that the team did. After feeling slightly disappointed that our property hadn't had any offers after a fair few viewings, Valerie went out of her way to come by and offer advice and guidance. 4 days after this we recieved our offer!. Paul catered to our every need and was nothing but transparent with every part of the process, he knew exactly what we wanted and was very patient with our very specific list of needs for our new home and after looking at several properties he found our dream home. Karen was consistently keeping me informed of how the exchange of contracts was going and in the 6 days it took due to the top of the chain she absolutely worked solid to get exchanged before Christmas. I can honestly say that if you want an honest, hardworking no nonsense or hardsell estate agent then hilbery chaplin laindon are exactly who your looking for. Thankyou again.

GoogleI sold my flat 1 year ago. Paul Wood from Laindon branch was extremely helpful during the sale of my property. Constantly keeping me up to date, always returning my calls and offering advice whenever I needed it. The reason for this review is I had to contact Paul today and I received the same warm welcome I had always received for him. It was like chatting to a friend! He was able to help me and called me back to tell me what he had done. Excellent service!

GoogleRight from the start they were professional; helpful; they really were listening to me. From the moment that they first engaged with me, I didn't feel that they wanted to rush me through the paperwork and sign on the dotted line. They took the time to explain the process and really work along side me. I had just lost my Father and was deeply in grief. The last thing I wanted to think about was selling his house. But I was shown great empathy and understanding and felt that I really wanted these people to sell my Dads house. From the moment they had my house on the market they kept me up to speed at every step of the way, I trusted them completely and they had the house sold so quickly. If you want a professional efficient service use these people to sell your house they are great. Well done Phil the manager, Anthony and the rest of the team you all did so well Thank you so much. GoogleThis is the first time I've used a letting agency to 'let' one of my properties and also to manage it. I cannot praise Dan and his team more for their professionalism from start to finish. As a Landlord getting the right tenant is paramount and the process Hilbery Chaplin used was so thorough and fast that my property was occupied and rented to the right person within weeks. I cannot recommend Dan and Hilbery Chaplin enough and will be moving my portfolio their way over the next year or 2. Thanks again.

GoogleMy sincere thanks to the team in the North Berwick office for the professional, positive and efficient service received during my recent property sale. Selling during a pandemic was never going to be entirely stress-free. However, from my first contact with Diane Jennings I felt I was in safe hands. Diane and her team ensured that I was supported throughout and kept informed at all stages. At our first meeting Diane provided expert advice on how best to present the property, including the benefits of having a video presentation. She also provided reassurance about the additional safety measures required for viewings. In just over a week, a full marketing report and breakdown of costs was agreed, Home Report provided, photographs and video taken and the property went live. Within 10 days, an offer was made and accepted. I couldn’t be happier about the service and outcome achieved.

GoogleFrom the initial consult with Di to the busy closing date with Carole, we, as a family selling the parental home, where in the best of hands. The North Berwick team where friendly, professional, responsive, flexible and kept us fully informed at each stage. They absolutely smoothed the process and gave very good and helpful advice throughout. It was a great experience and we cant recommend Simpson Marwick enough.

Always communicative, straight-forward, professional and a pleasure to work with. You all made what can be a stressful experience very pleasant and indeed our buyer was very complimentary of the handling of the sale of our house. The legal team got the transaction over the line in a timely fashion even with the sheer volume of transactions since the market reopened. Thanks to you all for your efforts and, of course, the sale price outcome which exceeded our expectations. We are delighted with the service we have received.

GoogleVery bad experience with this agent, they were dismissive of me as I don't think my property was valuable enough for them to spend their time to help me. I thought in the market and tough times we are in they would welcome any business. Clearly not, the have even bothered to return my calls or emails. I have now instructed an agent round the corner in Romford. Nothing but good experience with them treated well and looked after and now they have rented my flat out for me. DONT USE THIS AGENT. THEY ARE RUDE AND UNHELPFUL. CHOSE ANOTHER.
