Ozzie Minhas was brilliant from start to finish, especially as this was my first buy-to-let. He made the whole process feel a lot less overwhelming than I expected and explained everything in a really clear, straightforward way. He was always quick to respond whenever I had questions, which made a big difference. He put in a lot of effort in finding the right deal for me and keeping me updated throughout. The whole process couldn't be any smoother thanks to him setting it up so well! He is clearly very knowledgeable and experienced. I’d definitely recommend Ozzie to anyone, especially if you’re new to buy-to-let (or looking for your first residential!) and want someone reliable, easy and friendly to deal with. I highly recommend Marcus as an estate agent, he truly went above and beyond to make our home buying experience smooth and stress-free. His hardworking ethic shone through from the start; he was always responsive and flexible, adjusting to my busy schedule without hesitation. When Lewis called in sick for our first house viewing it was Marcus who stepped in seamlessly (albeit a tad late) and handled everything with professionalism and enthusiasm. Then again on our second viewing, when it somehow slipped through the cracks and wasn't in anyone's diary (Lewis seemed to have taken my phone call but not put me in the diary while he went on Holiday), I had to call the office minutes before closing and again Marcus rushed over at short notice to ensure we didn't miss out. I'm especially grateful that he stayed well beyond his shift end to answer all our questions and walk us through the details. As a person with a history in House Sales and working in an Estate Agents many moons ago, I really hope Marcus continues to give 110% with all of his clients and this review paves the way for him to stand head and shoulders above the rest! Thanks to Marcus's dedication, we found our perfect home. If you're looking for an agent who puts clients first, he's the one!

We bought our first house through Hilbery Chaplain and it was far from seamless in regards to delays and issues with the solicitors but the estate agents were great, kept us up to date as much as possible. Chased our solicitors when our completion date fell through and really assisted us considering we were first time buyers and knew very little about the process. We recently used Hilbery Chaplin, Laindon to sell our home. From our very first meeting I couldn’t fault the service we received. Nothing was too much trouble for them. They did all of our viewings for us and took care of everything we needed. Once we had sold our house, we ended up buying a property that was also being sold by them. Any question or query was quickly answered and the whole process was made so easy by the whole team. Karen is amazing, she was the first person we met and was one of the main reasons we chose to use them as estate agents. Lewis did a brilliant job with the photos of our home. We ended up mainly dealing with Marcus, who was outstanding, so helpful. He showed us houses and helped to make our buying process so simple. He is a true gem! I cannot fault the service we received from all of the team and cannot recommend them highly enough.

Hilbury Chaplin Laindon have been absolutely amazing with the Sale of our home. We bought through them 5 years ago and there was no hesitation to use them for the sale again. We first met Karen who was amazing during our valuation and gave us some brilliant advice for buying our new home aswell as continued support for any questions we had. She made us feel so at ease and comfortable through out the whole process. I would also like to mention Marcus who is a credit to Hilbury Chaplin - he has gone above and beyond for us on so many occasions. One Saturday evening we lost our set of door keys and didn’t know where to turn. We decided we would stay at our parents and collect the keys from the office in the morning - we text Marcus to ask what time they would be open in the morning and he promptly replied “I don’t live far from the office I can get them now for you” the relief that come over us was unbelievable and we could never thank Marcus enough for coming out on his weekend to help us. His positive and can do attitude is something that others should look up to! We will be sad to see the end of our communications when everything is finalised but we will not hesitate to get in touch again if we ever need to sell our home again.

Karen, Anabel and the team were amazing at selling our house. We sold within 2 weeks and when we ending up with a long chain to complete, they did everything to keep us up to date on where everyone was and the communication was fantastic. We wanted to move before the stamp duty increased and we had issues where no one in the chain was really pushing the completion. Anabel was great at chasing updates and pushing for completion until the very end, and even when we were struggling to exchange due to the solicitors not acting quick enough, Karen tracked down where the hold up was and ensured that the exchange went through within the time frame. We can't thank the team enough for their effort to get us completed and moved before the end of March. Their service was fantastic throughout. Definitely recommended and would use them again without hesitation.

Grace contacted me via mail shot 5 months into being listed with another agent. Her mailshot was outstanding. Unlike the franked standard letter with digitised signature, hers was in a hand addressed envelope with a real stamp on it - with beautifully heavy gauge paper. The presentation was outstanding. I was curious. So I contacted her and we met up 2 days later. Grace’s approach to marketing the house was new and refreshing. She was full of positive energy and was able to see the positives in a quirky, rural property. She understood my needs as a Seller and was quick to deliver a sales letter and marketing plan, again produced to the highest standard. Her photographs and marketing collateral were high end and working with Matt, she produced an outstanding video which she used for Social Media and the Rightmove and Zoopla portals. I had so many compliments on how she had interpreted my beautiful home and brought it to life with the video tour. Viewings followed. Grace was always courteous and mindful of making them as convenient as possible to fit with me. Unlike most agents who spend about 15 to 30 minutes in the property - Grace spent around 1 hour with prospective clients showing them around and working with them to see the opportunities the property would afford them, should they wish to buy it. Unlike other agents, her feedback was efficient and thorough. She sold my home when it was getting dark at 4pm and when most Sellers are looking to take their properties off the market. The property went live at the beginning of September and went under offer in mid November. Very impressive. Just like her. A property professional who is driven by the highest of standards. If you want a refreshing new approach to selling your home, it really is worth speaking to her and getting her opinion. You really don’t have anything to lose - but everything to gain. We now enter the Sales Progression part of the sale process. So I can’t comment on that as yet. However, I will be happy to do so once I have completed it.
