GoogleOne star is more than enough for maintenance department. Takes months to sort out simple things so you need to be ready to do everything by yourself and pay the cost out of your pocket.

GoogleStay Clear at all costs !! I don't normally leave reviews but I feel like I need to on this occasion as I feel so let down and frustrated by Hall and Benson. They are nothing but inconsiderate liars, after dealing with many estate agents over the years these are by far the worst. Their incompetence and untruthfulness has cost me a lot of time and money and also caused me a great deal of stress. Never again will I deal with /hall and Benson.

GoogleWe can’t thank Kirsty enough. As first time buyers we weren’t entirely sure what we were getting ourselves into but she explained all aspects of buying our first home. Not all mortgage advisors go through the cost of moving so we were grateful for all of the information she gave us and how we were going to afford it. We would not go anywhere else for any mortgage advice, we can’t thank her enough. Would highly recommend!

GoogleOur experience from start to finish was exemplary and professional. We met Joe Blaney, one of Hall and Benson’s Lettings Valuers, who arrived on time and had all the information that we needed. He communicated, clearly and precisely and explained “everything” in detail, clarifying points that we raised. We left that meeting knowing that the letting of the property was in safe hands. Following that initial meeting, Joe dealt with all aspects of the letting and kept us informed throughout. He concluded the letting of the property, as it has started, speedily, professionally, with “nothing” being too much trouble for him, or the Lettings’ Team. In summary, Joe was friendly, easy to communicate with and always returned phone calls, texts, or emails, with the relevant answers, or replies, etc. I have no hesitation in recommending Hall and Benson.

Terrible service and liars. Stole our deposit because they made a mistake in the tenancy agreement which apparenlty we were meant to have realised (even though we were all first year university student who were renting for the first time ever). They also lied multiple times about fixing things and never did and also told us that they will compensate for delayed move in and inconvenience caused but never actually did! Avoid at all cost!

Humphries cost us about £18000.00. They did not carry out there contractual duties to inspect properties or make entry and exit inventories although they claimed that they had. They then, without informing us ,allowed tenants to leave so as to avoid the tenant complaining to the council or going to court.

On a real note please avoid these scumbags. They are money hungry goblins! Forget Gollum from lord of the rings these holy saints will cut all corners to gain as much profit as possible by cutting off electric and gas for no reason and not sorting it out for days just so they can wipe there ass with another roll of extra soft andrex toilet roll. Stay safe people and spread the word I wouldn’t want anyone to live the experience under Nicholas Humphrey

This company should be put out of business so unprofessional.I planned my day around seeing these time wasters as I was considering using them as my letting agents.I waited and waited and waited. Tried phoning office and mobile no answer. No phone call, text or email to say they weren't coming just so unprofessional.Having since seen the huge amounts of negative reviews on here I'm actually pleased that they never showed up...hopefully they will go bankrupt no less than they deserve complete s*cumbags

Still not had holding deposits back after 9 days of not being successful on getting a property. Have rang up 4 times and each time there was a difference excuse! How many peoples deposits do they actually keep as some people may forget about it!

My sisters in law are currently renting a shared uni house from this company an it has been nothing but a joke from the start e.g radiators falling off walls, broken beds and furniture filthy mattresses, insect infestations a broken back door which does not even lock the list goes on the latest is the gas and electric has been cut off as this company hasn’t paid the bills which are all included in this overpriced accommodation yet when you try to contact these people for repairs you can’t get an answer which as most know a landlord has a reasonable amount of time to make a repair an believe me these repairs have not been made in reasonableTime some are yet to be completed but they can randomly contact an ask residents to clean up because they have a viewing or in one case someone turned up an demanded extra money one month this company is disgusting an should not be operating full stop we are going to have to take legal action against this company as this is breach of contract an is completely unfair an out of order. As now they are stuck in a property with no electric or gas can’t cook or wash or anything.

WHEN THEY DONT GET ADDITIONAL MONEY BECAUSE YOUR CONTRACT CLEARLY STATES BILLS INCLUDED THEY SIMPLY DONT PAY THE BILL AND NOW THE HOUSE SUPPLY HAS BEEN FULLY CUT OFF EVEN THOUGH THEY HAVE BEEN PAID THE MONEY ALREADY FOR THESE BILLS??? UNIVERSITY STUDENTS WITH NO HEATING OR HOT WATER TO COOK OR WASH, FILTHY LIVING CONDITIONS WITH FLEAS AND NO WIFI WHEN THERE ARE CRUCIAL DEADLINES YET THEY HAVE RECEIVED THE MONEY FOR BILLS AND WIFI !!!! THEY ARE THE WORST EXCUSE OF A ESTATE AGENT AND ARE EXPLOITING YOUNG VULNERABLE STUDENTS THEY DESERVE PROSECUTING!!! THEY WILL BE TAKEN TO COURT NOW AS THERE HAS BEEN TOO MANY ISSUES THAT THEY HAVE GOT AWAY WITH FOR TOO LONG.
