Matthew was great from start to finish. When we had our first mortgage appointment he ran through absolutely everything making sure we did not miss out on anything. Matthew helped us set up numerous insurances making sure all details were correct. Any questions or issues we raised with Matthew, he responded straight away and didn’t leave us waiting. Anything we asked him to do he did without question. Matthew was an integral part of our journey to purchasing our first home and couldn’t do it without him. Matthew always kept in contact asking what different stages we were at with the solicitors and making sure the products we needed in place for move in day were there, he would even work on the weekends to make sure he could provide the best service. I would definitely recommend Matthews services for anyone who is buying a property.

We would highly recommend Tom Hallam to anyone requiring a mortgage. We did not make it easy for him over the last 18 months or so with mortgages for multiple properties and some unforeseen issues that arose along the way. He was always helpful and went above and beyond. Always kept us updated even when it was not always what we wanted to hear. In fact the whole team at Hall & Benson were brilliant and we would recommend to anyone buying and selling.

We recently sold our property through Hall & Benson in Heanor and found the staff there to be fantastic. Corey, Nicolas and Katie are very friendly, helpful and professional making the selling process straightforward and providing an excellent service for us. Nicolas was great and put us at ease from our first meeting explaining the process and offering honest, professional advice. This is an edit as I was asked by Hall and Benson to remove this review which I refused to do, even though I was accused of trying to defame the business. This is a true account of our experience. I would not recommend Hall and Benson Heanor. Corey attended to carry out the valuation. He was very positive stating he will have no issues in selling our property. Promised the earth, delivered nothing. The photos and write up we can't fault however, the Communication was non existant unless I contacted them. It felt like, as our house had no interest in the first couple of weeks, in our opinion, it was put to the bottom of the pile and ignored. We had no viewings in the time we were with them. Corey did tell me he possibly had an interested buyer but never followed it up. They also lost my door key but refuted this saying my husband never gave it to them. In a telephone conversation today, again he said we did not give him a door key, but I know we did. We were basically called liars. When I cancelled my contract with them, the person I spoke to said it was very worrying as he had no details and knew nothing of the property. They charge over £3500 for the sale of the property however, Corey stated to me however, he has spent £500 on advertising my property. How is £3500 justified.

No effort, no communication I called H&B on a Saturday afternoon because I was in the area and wanted to view a property which had come on the market a day or two day before. I got their answerphone so I left a message with my details asking them to get back to me to arrange a viewing. Its now 2 weeks later and I still never heard back from them, even though I see the property is still on the market. If I was the seller I'd be spitting blood to know nobody's following up potential viewings. They're obviously not making much effort on behalf of their selling customers.

I have to say I probably wouldn't have chosen Hall and Benson to sell ny property as the valuer who was first booked never turned up. A few weeks later Corey phoned me and persuaded me to let them value it (other valuer no longer employed by them) . His charm, tenacity and honesty won him the sale and I have been very pleased with the service received. It's not been an easy process (not their fault) but Corey has kept on top of everything and got me the full asking price. Would definitely use again. Highly recommended
