Chris has been fantastic at helping me to get a mortgage that suits my specific circumstances. He understood what I needed and made sure he could find me the very best deal I could. He is patient and explains everything in a way that I can actually understand. I cannot recommend him highly enough. Special shout outs also to Matthew and Carly who have also been fantastic at helping me to try and find the right property. They are friendly and helpful every time I speak with them! Awful service. 12 weeks into a sale I had to go and physically sit in the office for almost 2 hours to watch whilst phone calls were made only to find out our buyer offering a "quick cash sale" didn't have the cash. Did nothing to find a credible buyer in 9 months and now refusing a refund following their terrible service.

Their communication with sellers and buyers is appalling. I asked that the manager call me at a specific date and time 24hrs later I am still waiting. They phoned and left 1 message to say someone wanted to view our house, we have tried calling, no surprise, no answer. How are you ever meant to sell your house. I feel they should be paying me not me paying them

So ive been working with Chris Astill at this branch since July last year, due to no fault of Chris's it dragged on slighty, but from start to finish he has been brilliant guiding me threw everything step by step, sending me all forms i need and info to go with, when and where things needed to be done, we were close to completion in Nov last year , and due to things on my part the offer got withdrawn. He worked with me again and waited for my issues to resolve, a few months later, got me a better deal than the first, as rates dropped in the time we was waiting, again, helpful every step of the way. I knew nothing when we first met and he made sure i understood everything at every step. I now complete next friday and couldnt be happier purchasing my first home, something i never thought possible a few years ago, i couldnt recommend enough, professionlism, courtesy and understanding every step of the way, very knowledgeable, there were never really problems in the end, only more solutions.
