GoogleWell - Abi, Beth and Jess, what can we say? Last week we secured and exchanged on our curent home and purchased the new home of our dreams, a long term solution for our disabled son. You knew how important this house was to us. Typically as with conveyancing the process, we had a bit of a rollercoaster, but once formally sold you made the process quick and you never once let us down. At first we were tempted to go with a cheaper online estate agent unsure of where the 'true' value lay in traditional estate agents. The answer? You get what you pay for. Without all 3 of you at the healm pushing and pushing our chain to exchange we could well have lost our purchase and consequently all could've fallen through. 45 minutes from the deadline and Abi, you were making phone calls and pushing as hard as you could. Beth, I lost count of how many times you sat and listened to me on the phone as we tried to navigate the complex process. So to anyone thinking I'll go online and save a few quid, had we too made that decision I'm honestly not sure we would be packing our boxes ready to make the move. Thank you to you all. Without a doubt you will be top of my recommendations. Highly professional and amazing service.

GoogleBrilliant! A massive thank you to Abigail and Lee for their professional, responsive and friendly conduct throughout the purchase of my property. A very upfront and honest Estate Agent who give you all the details of a property if they have it ( such as sales that have fallen through and the reasons for it.) Abigail was very attentive and helped with the sale wherever she could, and Lee gave very straight forward and clear mortgage advice. I will be recommending Hall and Benson to anyone embarking on moving home. Thanks again! Heather.

My daughter is a tennant at one of their rental properties and I am guarantor (which I am happy to do). For the first year contact they had typos and miscalculations in the guarantor contract, and when they asked me to email my personal documents, and I asked for a secure upload (email is not secure), they had none. Ultimately I photocopied them and gave them to my daughter to hand them over. This year, they have lost my proof of id, so want something again, and still have no secure upload process (although they are now using docusign for the contract - this is an improvement). From the landlord, I guess this is all fine, as it is none of their problem, but for the users of the service they provide, it really is very poor.

FacebookNot interested in working with the vendor to sell a property. The sales process is poor not to mention the communication or lack of it from the staff (branch manager!) and the general customer service is left wanting. If you want to sell your property then don’t waste your time with this estate agency as they tie you in for a fixed term and do absolutely nothing to get the property marketed effectively and sold. Hall & Benson Allestree branch are not professionals in sales or customer service.

If only I could give no stars. As a tenent renting though this company, our experience was terrible. Checks not completed, no tenenecy support at all. Did everything they could to make sure we lost our deposit. HUGE and unaffordable rental increase. Paperwork not correct. Then to top it off, totally ignored my official complaint!

Student in Nottingham.When we first moved in, the house was full of black mould and hadn't been deep cleaned despite the promise that it had been, We had to clean it ourselves. The manager of the house (his name was Liam) never had direct contact with us he always passed it on to other workers who weren't assigned to our property. We didn't have a working hoover for the whole year of our tenancy despite asking for one multiple times. It took them two weeks to fix our heating when we were in one of the coldest weeks of March where temperatures hit -1C. Very weaselly company who don't even do the bare minimum of looking after the house never even consider signing up with them.

Dealing with this companies is a nightmare. They will make you regret choosing them more with every interaction you're forced to have. They're always late to reply. They will try to weasel out of anything.
