Morning Raymond, Thank you for your feedback. We’re sorry to hear that your experience with Grisdales did not meet your expectations. We understand there were issues with the original buyer. We have a system in place to vet buyers and these checks were completed. Unfortunately, the buyer chose not to respond post-offer, which led to delays. We have taken steps to prevent similar issues from this individual in the future. While we did conduct some viewings, we appreciate your frustration with having to handle some yourself and apologise if you felt unsupported during this time. Regarding the advertisement of your property, due to its location, we focused our marketing efforts through the nearest office. We also utilise Rightmove, OnTheMarket, our website, and email marketing. If you had preferred additional exposure, we would have been happy to discuss this with you. It’s disappointing to hear that you felt our service fell short overall. Our goal was to ensure a smooth transaction, which included arranging a short-term tenancy outside of the usual 6-month term for your buyer to facilitate the sale. We were pleased when the sale completed, but we regret the lack of communication you experienced during the final stages. This does not reflect the level of service we aim to provide, and we are working to improve our communication practices. Once again, we apologise for the difficulties you encountered and appreciate your feedback.
