FacebookThe team at Grisdales are all highly professional and very friendly. They absorb any stress that you might have when selling a house. Susan was always prompt and extremely helpful. I'd really recommend them all and am so pleased we opted to sell our property with them. Thanks to all Susan, Destiny, Rob and the team.

FacebookMy partner and I have been let down , we were actually gazumped and we thought this sort of action was no longer allowed through an estate agent . We had a verbal offer accepted and we told the agent as soon as our funds from a sale had completed we would start the process . Yes it was left on the market at cockermouth but we were not warned that another person was making a higher offer or even viewing I was told we had lost it .The vendor said to Grisdales he would feel bad to let the offer go as he didn’t want to disappoint the people , but was not bothered about us and how we felt. We feel extremely let down by Grisdales, I have been a good customer to them in the past with rental and buying through them but would find it difficult to deal with them again.

GoogleFor future tenants and landlords using their services - please DON'T! I'm limited for space for this review and have had to re-write this to be less problem specific. Just for the record, I don't normally leave negative reviews, I'm a human being and realise that mistakes occur HOWEVER.... This business lies and cheats its way through their everyday business, will try every trick in the book to rob you of your deposit and make ridiculous, demands. They will not contact the landlord on your behalf if you have questions. Using this so called estate agent is the same as holding your breath, waiting for a grenade to explode and hoping all the dust settles in a nice neat little pile by your feet. I have plenty of substantive examples I can use but just don't have the room on here. Honestly, there are plenty of other service providers out there, if you are thinking how bad they can be in comparison I would give Grisedales a rating of -5 out of 10.

GoogleUnnecessarily bureaucratic and will do everything in their power to get every penny from you. Very poor service; as we were moving out, Grisdales organised viewings to which they would regularly turn up 30 mins late with no reasoning as to why. Upon returning deposit they've deducted close to £100 despite a very clean house. It has then taken over a month for them to approve the deposit refund which is ridiculous. Overall poor service.

GoogleA professional bunch, we had to sell our dads house, they came and looked at it gave us a price suggestion and listed it. They took care of everything within 3 months we had a cheque for the trust.

Recently I have dealt with grisedales as I am trying to purchase a new home for my family. The service provided was fantastic. The agent I dealt with (Helen) was extremely helpful. There was a property I was interested in viewing & Helen took the time to show me through all of the information she held on the property before promptly arranging a viewing for me. Unfortunately once We had viewed the house we decided it wasn't exactly what we were looking for. Helen assured me that she will update me on any properties that come onto the market that will suit the needs of my family. The atmosphere in the grisedales office at Workington was welcoming & friendly. Would definitely recommend to others.
