Ordered an item by mistake, asked to cancel but was told it was not possible. Multiple days passed and then the item was dispatched. Tracking indicated the order was packaged and shipped days after I had requested to cancel the order. So it clearly could have been easily cancelled.I was told to return the item when I got it, I opened a return case and a day or so later the return case was closed as they don't accept returns. Disappointing. Don't expect any customer service from Grainger beyond there legal obligation.

4 days late on an order pick up with 0 notifications or mentions of a delay. Live chat support only copy and pastes scripts and does not help. Phone support, both regular and supervisors just as unhelpful. Either the agent laughs and disconnects the call, the supervisor tells you it is late and that is that, or you are told you are yelling so they can end the chat. There was 0 willingness to look into what happened, 0 willingness to express that this is not a common issue, and 0 willingness at all to want to help the customer, just hang up the phone. Terrible customer service. Terrible ship time. Terrible care for the customer's needs. I will not shop here again, I will choose Uline from here on out. A bit further of a drive, but they are EXTREMELY on top of things and will notify you the moment any incidents/delays/whatever happens with your order.

Ordered a blower motor that came up in a Google search, upon receipt it was obviously the wrong one. I called customer service an although the were very nice the were unable to supply the correct one. So here's rub I can return it but I'm out shipping both ways about $26. So I'll be ordering from Amazon from here on out where if its incorrect I can just return it and be refunded the whole amount. What looked to be a good deal turned into $26 for nothing. If they are going to use Google Ads to sell product they somehow need to make sure what comes is what you need. Unless they have an exact match part # go elsewhere because any mistakes the shipping is on you.

The absolute worst. Bought a Dayton electric ceiling heater from for my training studio. It constantly breaks, leaving my customers freezing (I'm based on Chicago). The most recent issue was a faulty wire that sparked and melted some components. Every time I need to replace a part, they charge me the full amount, which means I've now paid about $150 on top of the original $350 for the unit. The fact that they don't respond to any of their numerous complaints shows how much they care about customer service.

I contacted Grainger about bathroom panels for a preschool. The quote I received back was totally different more expensive line than I requested. I called twice and was reassured by both contacts that I would receive a correct quote promptly. I finally went with One Point Partitions after trying for months to get another quote from Grainger. I highly recommend ONE POINT PARTITIONS. I had a correct quote within a day, placed the order and received the products within a week. I WILL NEVER CONTACT GRAINGER FOR A QUOTE AGAIN!!!!!

1 star, because “0” isn’t an option.Being devoted cost/ didn’t help me. Years taken off my life. 50-60hr work weeks to correct unresolved issues that existed long before my arrival. Hired on to fix those problems.Stay quiet and don’t work for the competitors; that was the ask when I was pushed out.I sacrificed and moved to further my career… only to lose it all because I’m not a man. Look into it… I led a (successful) branch 3 times. It’s unfortunate that my Grainger career was cut short; loyalty is my strong suit. Years after being let go, I feel my team would be better served if I still worked there. Messages from former team members suggest the same. Monthly messages…I’m not interested in regaining employment. I only aim to draw attention to the fact that Grainger lost sight of the most important issues. Morale, customers and dedication are your future. Show you care and see what happens…
